Groovychick64 We generally have a baby shower here for a first baby ... and then if later in life you are surprised with a second. But as if this decade it seems the younger generation likes them coed. I was brought up it was for the women to have a party. So that was what my daughter and I decided on. Baby showers are very American, but some of the younger generation are doing it now. Those nappy flowers are lovely.
Jeans Dolls Hi Jean! That's Surprising! Here years ago you only got a baby shower for your first child. Then if years later you had another child someone might give one for you. Also the newer generation does coed showers, but I'm very old school. I told my daughter I was doing an all girl only party.

baby dollluv Hi Megan! Yes that's why I have been missing from TH-cam... really busy! It's easy to stay on a budget for a party like this if you're willing to put a lot of extra hard work and creativity into it. I put so much money into my granddaughter's furniture that I had to budget myself on the shower. But the times has really paid off! 🌞
Your daughter is going to LOVE all the time and effort you have put into the shower. You are a great mom!!! There is no point in spending a lot of money, when you can get decent stuff at the Dollar Store. Everything looks fantastic.

Omg great ideas, I'm having my first grandbaby and I been watching videos I love this and thanks for sharing. Because I've tried to explain you can start now to be ready for the shower she thinks I'm just shopping to shop. I'm the youngest of 11 siblings and over 40 plus grandkids and 20 plus great grandbabies my parents have so we start everything early to make sure the kids all get gifts again thanks for sharing
