Sorry to inform you of this: I was at this concert and if you have never seen him in person than you have NO idea how handsome he is. Seriously. I was not prepared for his beauty, and I am not saying this as some wacko fan. There is something about him that is truly beautiful -- his face is illuminated by a play of emotions that are right on the surface of the skin unlike anyone I've ever seen. He has a vulnerable softness and, paradoxically, a strength to his looks. He has a special glow and his unique presence truly melts your heart.

@@maroon3973 You have so much to discover -- an adventure ahead. I would also explore all his practice videos. So, I was struck by how tall he was when he first came out on stage -- I would say he is about 5´10 but due to his long legs and broad shoulderx and tiny waist he looks taller. And he is incandescent -- he really has a star magic too him. When he danced he could be alternatively gentle like a breeze or volcanic. As I might have mentioned in my comment, it was when he spoke to the audience at the end that you could see him in all his glory. I just was not prepared for his beauty. In person, his eyes looked huge and glistening. He had very little make up on -- a more natural look than some of the performances you can see on TH-cam -- and his eyes had a touching vulnerability to them and were like pools of dark water. He might have even been on the edge of tears as he said how welcomed he felt in a strange land; perhaps that is what made them so glistening. I think Taemin is so adorable and I sometimes wish I could just pinch his cheeks. But seeing him live, talking with real emotion and no artifice to the audience -- well, the last thing I wanted to do was treat him like a little cute boy. He was sort of awe inspiring. Because it takes real strength and maturity to be real in front of thousands of people. He seems like a man of substance and heart. Yeah, and he is gorgeous, too :-))

Lol, I've digged so far into his variety show, singing competition show way back in 2012 to 2014, Shinee videos, concert/tv show fancams, lol and still so many gems I haven't found yet. This man is a hell of monster performer with massive experience and long built solid career it's crazy when we compare all that with his young age. It's really astonishing to hear from you how he looks in person. So much beauty, yet very strong personality, with extreme duality persona on and off stage. He must be glowing with all that charisma from within. I agree with you how until this time I always find him so brutally honest and purely him. I guess maybe coz he's practically raised by industry, protected and shielded by the circle of it, that he lives and breathes with it, absolutely because of what he himself capable of so he doesn't even need to kiss anybody's a** or struggle in any dishonor way to survive. What a way to live and admired .. Edit: omg, you said he only put very little makeup on him here? I know he's naturally so beautiful with such ethereal facial features he almost looks like a divine creature but I still thought he looks like that in the vid coz of his heavy stage makeup on. Then you just said no, he didn't ... lol, I'm dying here hahaha

I am a huge fan of SHINee´s Jonghyun and fans have been kind enough to share details of what he was like in real life -- one person said in concert that his voice was like an intense beam of warm sunlight bursting from the stage and that he was a congenial presence on stage -- relating to the audience with complicity and joy. Taemin had moments of goofiness and self-deprecation when I got to see him -- and a generosity of spirit vis á vis the other members. Taemin, like Jonghyun, has a one-in-a-million gift -- he has worked tremendously hard to achieve not just success but an artistic vision. Ever since the death of Jonghyun he has also had to carry within him a shattered heart and I think that his courage is just amazing. I wondered when I saw him in concert, and his eyes seemed to shine with tears, if he was remembering that the last time he had been in that stadium was with Jonghyun....I am so glad you have discovered him and are delighting in all the videos! You will really enjoy the I Heart Radio interview where he talks for about an hour about his career and his artistic vision. Enjoy!
