Well done son, we were exhausted watching this, what a lot of effort and hard work to make that happen. Your positive attitude is amazing and you never give up, so so proud of you, much love ❤❤
I've used braces for many years Canned hard work. Here I'm UK quality and reliability is a big issue. Seriously thinking of reverting to Power chair full time. Great video. THANKS
Fredo man you keep doing what you doing, Your last video inspired me to go swimming for the first time after my injury. yesterday I l learned how to front crawl which isn’t easy without abdominal strength and legs. But I think it will get easier and easier each time. Looking forward to my next session next week. 🏊♂️ 🤙
YES Pete ! This has me smiling massively, I love hearing this. 😁 Front Crawl is advanced! Fairplay. I find sculling on my back to be by far the easiest way of staying afloat and making progress, but just being in the pool is awesome. Stoked! Next time I'm around Southampton, we can go swimming together 😁
Wasn't that the title of Richard's first video? When I was at school and we were preparing to enter the world of work, our whole class did this test from the local job centre for determining what kind of job would suit you. My first suggested job was orthopaedic brace engineer! Not a profession many people even know is a thing, so about half my class mates had this as a career suggestion. The 2nd option was glove maker or something silly. They just suggested professions where they needed new blood!
😎 'Another great vid' Freddo. Do you know if there are particular exercises to counter muscle wastage from inactivity? And if so, do you think they work? 😎
Yes I think that electric muscle stimulators can work quite well, with a high protein diet, I saw that somewhere. But I guess you’d have to use it a lot. My spasms keep my legs from atrophy, as much as I hate them sometimes
I can walk with a walker too, but I put it in the too hard basket lol, you can’t carry anything 😮 and I’m old and lazy. After ten years in a chair I just find it easier to stay in it lol 😅
Brilliant Video Freddo. It must be so frustrating for you. It’s inspiring to see how you have adapted and accepted it for what it is. That in itself is amazing. Keep it up! Dan (neighbour to you’re older, less refined, balder, uglier brother😂)
Wait, I did not know, you also speak "German" :) - I am pretty sure I have heard that correctly. And the funniest part is, that Germans love to use the "English version" instead.

Walking sucks, it hurts! XD Walking somewhere is rather difficult and painful so I don't get far, hence why I Don't like walking
What sort of disability do you have? Why does walking hurt for you?
