I'm 60 years old, and am hearing this for the first time...and my mind is blown. This would have been right in my wheelhouse back in '74, but unfortunately it slipped through my fingers like sweet smoke!!
Mind blowing. That's it! I had to grow up and live in East Germany. I never could go to their concerts. What a shame! I'm 66 now, found this 3 or 4 years ago. A real gem.
Laurensnl I know I’m completely lost in the past time music seen I really never left . Like Tull said living in past how many cigarettes (Joints) did I bring along ? I don’t know but I’ll SMOKE one ya that makes this really. SWEET THANKS for sharing creators
I discover them in '98 since then many friends thanking me for the introduction, And many musicians finding good influence , THANKS SWEET SMOKE !!!!!!!!
Brings back the time, 1975, a long hot summer at the northsea and as long evenings at META, Norddeich with great music and great people. the creator has a masterplan ... won't forget these nights!!!
I would sure like to look through your dad's collection. He must have been a cool dude to have come from his generation and still appreciate Sweet Smoke. RIP, Jazz Man's dad.
Could it be the same reason most of us under a certain age did not know gems like this until You Tube or, for me, Napster while looking for something else? The format of crappy corporate classic rock stations will not allow such gems to be played. I hear folks in their late 50s and 60s talk about album oriented/progressive radio stations of the early 70s. How I wish we still had such stations today! I am glad I have You Tube to enjoy such obscure gems as this. Rock on, brother!
thank you soooooo much i had this on an old tape and lost it like for years and lost all hope to refind it...it brings such goooood memories man..oh dammmmn goood memories
Thanks for t uploading this, it's so good! Bought this album for the sleeve, but was amazed by the the music (the 'Maroccan gardenherbs helped too!"). Still al lot of mysteries about the band and the many players. Ongevraagd advies, goed bedoeld; "Dont walk on the the grass and don't smoke it (too long, too often) it's not what it used to be"
always thought these guys had a serious allman brothers vibe to their playing, too short-lived, wish they had stayed around another decade, great music.

Accomplished musos. Had not heard of them during my 60's & 70's music discovery, mind you then, we were swamped ith good groups in those times ! (Lyrics - I'd call it Busking ????).
This is still available ? This is very exciting to hear. A friend of mine had this and we just melted as everything we looked at lifted off the floor, the walls. Yes we were thoroughly baked. Great stuff here !!
Sweet Smoke, Just a Poke. Loved the album back then and still love it today. These guys knew how to jam.
