Ty-PHON is probably the other option I'd go for, definitely. The S:P only in theory came up in very very niche situations, and in hindsight, thinking about the match-up spread I played at locals ytd, Ty-PHON would've probably been the better 15th.
@@HakunaMyData wow! (PowerPoint lol) But do u look for renders of the cards online (like the Taia in this case) cuz i dont think that u can make that cutout in PP...?
I mentioned how Swordsoul kinda needs the card nowadays, as the deck is really fair compared to something like Mannadium. Vessel is like a Pot of Greed in a sense that you don't wanna draw multiples of because it's essentially the missing Tenyi name you need if you draw Vishuda/Adhara with it (Also applies to Ashuna), and lets you p much go for Chaofeng if you have Swordsoul cards in hand or Chixiao to help you get to the other half of your deck. The issue with running 3 is that it's cloggy and is super dead when you draw 2.
@@Eltnum_JAV Appreciate the time you took to answer, thanks! Quick question, how does Vessel & Ashuna in hand work? I only know the Vessel + Adhara or Vishuda play.
@@RLuke103 Starting Hand: Ashuna + Vessel Special Ashuna, Link into Monk. Dump another Ashuna to play around Bystials (If they have 2, they have 2), get Adhara/Vishuda off Vessel search. Go off as normal to the normal Ashuna + Adhara/Vishuda combo. I hope this helps!
Only issue with another synchro is the pool of generic options is rather weak after baron. Scarlight for time/clearing is mid, dragite maybe comes up 10-15% of games max, and psychic end punisher has arguably less utility than SP
1:45 Bro explained how the deck is very fair and vessel is kind of a pot of greed and then goes ahead and plays only 2, the math ain't mathing bro bump that shit up to 3 if it's so good wtf... Go 41 instead of 40 if it means more consistency...
@@j2c695 huh? I said who cares if you go over 40 if you're adding more consistency cards. My intent was to say how he didn't even consider it. You can tell if you hear his explanation...
The card is dead if you draw multiples. You could run 3 if you'd like to, but the card is dead dead if you draw multiples. The card is strong, yes, but drawing multiples is bad. It's why I ran 2, and it did enough. It's a pot of greed that you don't want to see in multiples. Many other Swordsoul players run it at 2, anyway. I didn't explain it because I was a tad hungover from the night before and had a really bad headache recording this.
they compared it to pot of greed only in terms of the cards power level as a +1 thats able to randomly swing games in your favor if you hard draw it. in terms of functionality, its more like an in-archetype foolish + rota, but only if you draw it alongside a tenyi (or 2 swso), and its a hard once per turn. its one of the worst cards in the deck to draw multiples of. which is like, the most sensible combination of factors to run something at 2 instead of 3 lmao.
Ty-Phon seems like a better pick for the 15th slot. Much easier to make and plan for, amazing going 2nd, and probably much more budget than SP lmao
Haha good suggestion!

they need to reprint vessel in ultra since i went to the trouble of getting my entire deck in UR 😅
Haha let's hope!
Does anyone know what he said about Vessel? The background noise cuts right over what he says.

How many cards in main ?
Thoughts on PEP in swordsoul?
Card is as useful as S:P, aka very niche. Just play Ty-PHON or an 8/10.
PEP?
