I don’t think he realizes that rell seas is still in early development alot of things are changed now that they havent shown. Those are old footage and some of what he was looking at was back in january I’m really sure they changed most of what he was complaining about.

One thing they should do is have a mastery for fruits (I know, sounds repetitive but i promise it’s not) and the more mastery we get the more moves we unlock BUT the twist is we have only 5 slots for moves (start with really basic ones) and we have to give up a move to learn a new one, if we declined learning a move before they could add an npc to gives you all the moves u declined before for a chance to relearn one of them for money

2) Geppo is a universal mechanic, luffy doesn't have a fighting style but he can still use rokushiki, etc.
a cool thing they can do to allow more moves to be unlocked for fruits is that they can make it so you have to do quests and train your fruit (special quests) for experience, this will be cool i guess

Geppo isn't exclusive technique for rokushiki or black leg it's technique which everyone can learn with enough ability (like sanji learned it without anything special)

They actually mentioned that rellseas wont have leveling progression. So basically no one would be too op and too weak because there's no 1000-2000 level difference. The difference are just stats and skills
Another option for fruit awakening is if you used the fruit for a long time you awaken it. Basically a way to prevent the reset and eat another fruit. With that you could even master a bad fruit while trying to awaken
Game is not even in 25% development and looks better than 99.9% of one piece games and they already said its not gonna be a bandit beater there is gonna be a different grinding system .
5.9 aint even all that bad hes slightly above mid (assuming 10 is the max) personally I agree with some of the things he said. Mainly the ones were he was saying the obviously right stuff like the game should not be a bandit beater etc. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he didnt know that the game isnt planning to be a bandit beater since it doesn't seem to me that he extensively researches Rell Seas so Imma cross over the things he said about bandit beating etc. I would rate him like a 6.3 if my assumption is correct, but this is still very generous Imo.

I don't mind his evaluation on Rell Sea's. I don't agree with most of his takes but I rather see criticism than videos saying "Rell Sea's is the best Roblox one piece game ever" while only seeing small clips and snippets of what's to come we truly have no idea how Rell Sea's will turn out. Most times than not criticism can be helpful regarding Games bad or good. Overhyping a game will only lead to a rushed release and a disappointed player-base regardless of the circumstance. In the anime/manga, geppo is one of the six powers(rokushiki) and Sanji only learnt it because of the mental torture of being on ivankov's island. This shows that anyone COULD learn geppo if they wanted to. The same could be said with soru as Luffy learned soru when he got gear 2 but people in the community wouldn't mind if soru wasn't part of every style especially since there will be other tp dashes but geppo is a very essential part of the movement is a Roblox one piece game.

Around 4:11 he talking about plastic hair plastic is used so that pacific color is used because textures sometimes make the color look darker and wack so and idk if hairs made this way but it’s probably many little pieces and using textures shows the pieces glitch inside of each other but plastic doesn’t because it doesn’t got texture as long as the pieces are the same color

Deepwoken and rell seas animations are supposed to be simple. It makes it easier to read you and your opponent's movements and provides for smoother feeling combat. That's the whole reason why curveds and railblades in deepwoken were so difficult to fight against, their animations were too detailed and weird.

To add onto what you said about the geppo, this game literally NEEDS geppo. The combat is ladder combat and they showed how you utilize geppo a lot in combos. It’s kind of essential to have for everybody in this game.

The fact that this game is still in development and it looks absolutely amazing design wise and animation wise, it’s still work in progress but it’s still very impressive!
I hope they don't add to many cutscenes in the skills cuz it can ruin the game

Yeah the GUI for the toolbar is perfect, the simplicity gives me rogue lineage vibes. The fruit transformations are good only problem as you stated is some are too hyper-realistic, knockback is needed for large transformation m1 combat which would also make aerial comboing more skill based and some large transformations shouldn't be able to aerial combat e.g. both venom transformations.

This is just an opinion, but I think that it's better that some people are good at the PvP aspect of RELL Seas than others, since it allows players to choose other roles in a pirate crew, as seen in One Piece, where not all of the Straw Hats are skilled fighters, but all of the Straw Hats are equally as important as anyone else. Some people don't have to be close ranged like Robin (for the most part) and can be snipers like Usopp too. Although I feel every player should have at least some battle knowledge to defeat NPCs such as small fries, sort of like Nami and Chopper, or hold off stronger opponents, such as when Chopper managed to hold off one of Enel's priests while he was waiting for Gan Fall to arrive, it is not necessary for every single person in the crew to be skilled fighters, since as any person would imagine, fighting is not the only aspect of RELL Seas (hopefully), and One Piece in general.
just because in one piece not anyone has aknowledge of geppo or dont know how to, normal people can geppo with training. Sanji is an example, also the superhuman users. So yes its dumb to not let everyone use geppo with training.
