Hey mate, great update. First off, Varnish. I have the same problem with the Vallejo varnish giving a silk finish. You could try another coat and dry them under a light heat lamp OR I have this super Japanese spray varnish called Premium Top Coat Flat from Mr Hobby. It's my figure saver vanish. Bloody expensive. Thanks for the continued support, those Kratos look awesome! Might be a while till I get to mine in honesty. Did you say Primarch souls? HERESY! Hehe. I don't want to answer that for fear of spoilers. I'm going to go and look at these other Ultras now.....ah very battle damaged ones. Good stuff. Get well soon mate!
Thank you man, I know it's hard to get started with a channel, and your stuff really is spectacular, did you have a look at that sparks artiflex link? That's what I want to aspire to. I have now had a few suggestions on how to address the varnish, and Im going to try a few. You take care of yerself and keep posting
@thatnewhobbyhigh yeah. Sparks guy was very good. Gl with varnish repair. Lost track of number of guys I've wrecked with varnish over the years. Thankfully I like the silk finish these days.
They will have both an apoc and a bike tech marine, gonna make it a super tanky glass cannon. Iafter I posted that I realised the irony of the statement "tanky glass cannon" and I feel foolish
First of, super glad you’re healthy - can’t put a price on that my dude. Keep it up, and enjoy time with your family and loved ones Secondly, regarding the next miniatures to do, I think you should do some that will enable you to really experiment and practice some free hand. Leviathan dreadnoughts and drop pods, with the big flat panels etc. can free hand some ultramarine stuff on them.
Excellent video, I feel you on the biopsies and skin cancer removals, been there myself. Good to hear you are doing better. Lore question 1: you might be right they might be able to be resurrected but.... Would Cruze even want that? Could it be done against his will? Is Alpharius even dead? Was there ever even two of them? But I agree that it might be possible. I say build the Leviathans and their drop pods. They would look cool (especially with your painting style, maybe blood spray on their hands?) and they seem like a good change painting wise and would be an effective addition to your army. No one's going to want to get within arm's reach of them, even Contemptors give Leviathans their lunch money. Was great to hear the good news, lots of love from Vancouver !!!
Thanks for the well wishes it is appreciated, my wife says to say thank you for them too. I wonder if curse did decide to come back would his legion even accept his return?
@@thatnewhobbyhigh I don't know, I think a lot of them would still have..... some feelings about Nostramo. Fascinating question. Glad you have a great wife to help during hard times, makes the worst less worse.
First thing great to hear your doing well mate with regards to the Primarch’s each Primarch is actually a daemon that was entered into these bodies created by the emperor when they turn to chaos the daemon of them comes through there body but is twisted. 2nd and quick answer is yes they can come back but the technology to create the Primarch’s are mainly lost other than Fabius bike and cawl. Sometimes there form can be stuck in the material a little like sanguinius being bound to the vengeful spirit. A lot of the aeldari live long lives and some are alive from the time of the war in heaven when they fought the necrons after there transference and the ctan star gods
It really makes for some gold tier story telling, leaving a lot for future interpretation, and the possibilities of new story lines, it's quite clever really.
yvraine is a complex character, in short yes she would be alive, well before the heresy as well, she has basically done everything eldar can possibly do, mastered every way of war and is now off doing her own thing.
This comment made me realise that the statement "I don't believe in magnets" make me look actually insane. What I ment to explain is that I glue my guns and make my models permanent, variety and choice be dammed, I will lose everything if it's not glued to a surface.
Ya know, I did but now I'm actually questioning if I did it enough. I'm going to shake the crap out of it and do one to try again, if you're right, I will publicly admit I'm a Muppet and thank you prolifically.
@@thatnewhobbyhigh your not a muppet, I did the same thing before, I thought I shook it but when I applied the varnish the shit made my blood angels look like they had a candy coat spray job, looked cool but not the effect I wanted

I'm making up likes of what to do for next week, I am intending to do them all but I have got something a little more ornate in mind for the leviathan

So she is mentioned somewhere in the HH books?
You might not believe in magnets, but they believe in you.😅
