I just can’t get my bags to fruit like that. Mono tubs and shoe boxes work but bag grows just don’t ever pin. 🤷🏼♂️ I’m wondering if my sub is just to dry for a bag. With the other methods I can mist or hand water but the bags are just being difficult.
Perhaps your environment needs a higher field capacity? What are you doing for field capacity? We're doing 650g coco coir, 250g vermiculite, and 4.5L water. Brains varieties tend to do a bit better with a bit higher field capacity (like another 0.5 L), so you get more of a steady stream instead of just a few drips. You could try that? Are you leaving enough airspace in the top of the bag and finally, do your bags have filter patches?
@@mycomommasI’ll give that a try. That’s a lot wetter than I’ve been using. I’ve got several brain types spawn bags that are ready to go so I’ll give this a try. It’s quite a bit more water than I’ve been using. I’ve got several different sized bags and they all have filter patches. It’s just pretty dry in here, because of health reasons the humidity stays at 45%. So not being able to adjust the moisture levels is probably it. I’ve dumped bags into a tub, and run my usual routine and get them to work just not in the bag. 👍
