I was gonna main dark rulers, but im terrified of super heavy running spell canceller so im conflicted. Ive made space for 10 non engine in gamma, droll, and ghost ogre. Im struggling to find any way to put puppet and expulsion back in though without going over 40. Id love to have more engine space, but im worried hand traps will be too manditory
Honestly, I have a quarrel with hand traps. Problem with them is if you don’t open them and you end up drawing them later. This is just my opinion, but in branded I prefer board breakers because it doesn’t matter if you lose the roll at that point. On the same token, they are bad because what if you draw too many of them and not enough engine or engine at all. It’s all about weighing your risk and what would you rather risk more. Hope that helps
@shadowtakamiki1 Thanks, I feel the same about preferring breakers. What do you think is the play is if spell canceller becomes popular? That's my only gripe about board breakers right now. I would much prefer to play breakers if possible cuz I feel like I can get away with less of them and still be effective, whereas with hand traps you'd really love to open more than 1 going second.
@@jamieblakely4043 thing is, there are 2 types of board breakers (excluding evenly): monsters and spells. You just have to decide what would be more beneficial to you and your play style, analyze the meta, and pick up on trends to try and be ahead so you can try to plan the most effectively that you can tbh. Can’t prepare for everything. Plan for your matchups and play to your win conditions and understand your lose conditions
i really like the list tbh. what do you usually go into when you just open branded fusion? the albion play feels kinda bad cuz u have to banish him and without tragedy lubellion feels kinda weird aswell
If you have no other cards, the old play is just jade-pass or rindbrumm-pass, but now there’s an argument to just end on sanctifire. You could use fusion to send albaz and cartesia. Make Albion and use his eff to banish albaz and cartesia to make dusk dragon and then dusk send lubel. Tribute albion off for lubel and put up lost. Ep you could just get expulsion if you want. Best thing I can think of off the top of my head if you have fusion and no other cards
@@shadowtakamiki1fair, that seems pretty good. what do you think about upping the bystial count and running 1 lub 2 magna and 1 saronir alongside beast? i think beast is pretty strong especially because sometimes after youre done fusion summoning and can activate lub, getting lost seems like a waste...
@@maxlucca the point of getting lost is to increase your chances to draw better cards in the future. Lost and beast are terrible draws. I personally don’t think beast is necessary now. If we were in a format like tear, playing all of the bystials and beast would work. @@shadowtakamiki1 alright i feel you. i just thought it would be pretty nice cause if you get stuff in the grave bystials help you to set up a few interruptions in through ash. also people in the ocg play a slightly bigger bystial count and its pretty much the format were going into now

Its your next case scenario if branded fusion gets ashed...hence the addition of the nadir servant. Essentially it allows you to pump out mirrorjade on your opp turn.
If you get Ashed on BF, you go: Nadir Servant send Sprind, add Albaz. End Phase: Sprind special Kitt, Kitt eff add High Spirits, put 1 card under your deck. Still in End Phase activate High spirits send Albion, discard Albaz, search Mercourier. Albion eff set Branded in Red. Gives you mirrorjade + Mercourier on your opp turn through Ash Blossom on BF.
Could you elaborate on the alba lenatus? What about it makes it really good in the deck, is it just because you can put back some of your fusions with to make it with fusion lub?
The resources you put back with lubel to make it allow you to grind better, it can’t be super poly’d, you can search deployment or fusion if needed, and it’s the level you need in order to synchro into lulu if you ever need to, and surprisingly you can clear a whole board of smaller monsters with him because of its effect. I’ve always like the card and alot of people have strayed away from it. It’s really up to you, but in my opinion, I think it belongs in the extra deck at all times. A set albaz against dragon deck go crazy( contact to make Alba)
Also, Dragon link likes to randomly poke itself into the meta, so it's always fun normal summoning albaz, not using its effect, but contact fusing away a borrelend, and whatever other degenerate dragons are on board
Branded is still pretty popular so I think super poly has to be a main deck. It’s one of the only cards that outs the puppet lock (though with new albion that’s not always the case anymore)
I may have misspoke about the argyros. They have outs including linking it lol 😅oops
Honestly its a nice out to appo...but burning a normal on it is not th play...you could pay santa a visit or kaiju
Great vid. Ngl the kid in the background scared the daylights out of me. With my headphones, it sounded like right in my room
I’m sorry, that was my son
Enjoyed buddy! Branded best deck!
Really enjoying the content🙂
Nice deck, thanks now i hace an idea on how to play the deck
ayo what was that eerie ass noise at 9:33 lmao

Do you think the bystial lubellion is mandatory? Could it be replaced with another bystial?
I don’t even think bystials are necessary right now. They belong in the deck, but the best decks are gatekeeping us from really playing them

what cards would you bump up/ add for a build with no lubellion? yes i know theres no replacement I still just dont feel like buying it.
You can play a 2nd red or a 3rd copy of whichever non engine card you prefer
I have 2 Nadir Servants and wanted to know if running 2 is enough , or should I get another 1 to have a play set
Not a financial advisor, but if it’s a card you want to see and it’s at 3, then play 3
Def get a third one. You wanna see it as much as possible with branded fusion
You keeping super poly or nah
I probably will end up maining it. Worst case, it’ll stay in the side

u said self explanatory for branded in high spirits but ive never played it in branded, why is it important
Allows you to keep playing after you get ashed. At the minimum, it allows you to chimera your opponent or make a jade during the opponents turn
I love branded...the problem is overall card design compared to the other meta decks...
Hey, can u please elaborate?
What do you mean
u fool u dare play aluber with albas , this against the Lore u fool
