WORTHLESS TAG SPAM
yo yo yo whats poppin logang in this here video that finished rendering at midnight, so basically way earlier than most of my videos, so i actually have some amount of energy to type my wonderful stupid tag spam like the fact that MASHLE is also known as MASHLE: MUSCLES AND MAGIC and was originally a manga written by HAJIME KOUMOTO starring the main character MASH BURNEDEAD with an epic cast of best friend characters including LEMON IRVINE and FINN AMES and LANCE CROWN and DOT BARRETT and TOM KNOWLES. anyway if you made it this far in the description youre probably uhhh, really bored or something. it took a while for me to actually like this video. the first day i was editing it i was like 'this video says nothing and is boring', and then i got really scared about that one bit where i say the story is political cuz it sounds kinda 'im a breadtuber who must make everything about politics HEY GUYS TODAY WERE GONNA BE TALKING ABOUT AUTHORITARIANISM IN YURU CAMP'. but i think ive come to terms with it? i dunno. if youre reading this comment 'lemon irvine? more like LIME IRVINE!'.

Mash isn't out to eat the rich. They're not cream puffs.
He's just out to get a peaceful life for him and his father. And if it means he has to break society itself for it, he'll make it happen with his fists.
true
How do you know until you've tried it?
sounds familiar... (J O J O)
@@shapeshifter7676 Mash: You're being creepy. Go away.

H - Harry Potter's World
I just find this interesting I wonder if it was intentional
The name Masshu is Just the Japanese spelling of Matthew. I know this because this is my name and I speak Japanese lmao
@@superawsomeblitz yea still cool though
And he interacts with the legendary sannin too! Lol. That hasn't been animated yet tho, I mean, except Wahlriyah lol.
If only he was named MashY for Yu Narukami's looks and charm
To me, he's more like this world's version of Toji Zenin.
Both lack their world's version of magic but have supernaturally absurd physical abilities to make up for it.
And in Mash's case, he's probably in the big leagues of his society as far as power is concerned, cuz otherwise he's just someone everybody other than his friends want dead or used like fodder in case of Innocent Zero.
Doom: "I'm disappointed"
Mash: "save your disappointment for all the bitches you don't get"
💀💀💀💀💀
Ok hear me out: another reason to watch Mashle:
BLING BANG BANG
BLING BANG BANG
BLING BANG BANG BORN
yes and now that, too
You know an anime is bad when the into is the best part, and the only good part about it.
@@blazeb2150 i wouldnt say that it's the only good part about mashle, just that it parralels basically everything in harry potter
Mash is basically what happens if mob and one punch man had a child.
Heavenly delusion actually is dope. Give it a watch. Think of it as a good balance between slice of life and sci-fi horror.
me and neon are gonna indulge in it for da podcast so look out for that!
Heavenly Delusion is seriously my favorite show of the season. It's so fucking good. I binged all of the episodes that were currently out and immediately read all 55 chapters of the manga that same day. I want moooooore!
and another reason to watch Mashle is that God-tier outro of course, don't forget that
lemon irvine dancing lives rent free in my head
Outros and intros for both seasons are iconic!
I'm a manga reader for Mashle and id say its 100% worth a read, other than when the animes animation chooses to improve id say the manga is the go to experience,
as its art quality is even better than the animes, with alot of ridiculous fights and of course the mind bending comedy. which hits abit harder (for me atleast.)
But the main story does start to pick up aswell at about volume 5.
of all the seasonal anime ive covered i think this is the one im most likely to go manga for, especially since theres a lot of english volumes out currently. def finishing the anime tho since with no point of comparison i think everything in the show looks good, even with the less than stellar average animation quality.
Who needs Harry Potter when Mash is a Heavy Squatter!
Oh, I don't know, anybody who wants to read about a great magical fantasy world.
Oh, I don’t know, people who like discriminatory authors??
Basically that A.I. meme "Harry Squatter the Boy Who Lifted" but Anime. 😂
Also I like your way of narration it reminds me of my Highschool days where Computer is not a thing so we just use Visual Aids for Class Reporting. Nice very creative. 😆
Yeah, the magical cops were absolutely going to euthanize Mash when they found out he lacked any magical ability. When Pops refused to turn him over, they were completely serious when they threatened to torture him until he broke.
Mash also slapped away a spell that subjugated a freaking dragon, ran both straight down and back up a sheer cliff, learned how to swim in just a few seconds, and backhanded a monster into orbit. The list of his exploits is already massive and ridiculous, I love it.
Ya I love how everyone in the later episodes are like "We're gonna kill you" and I'm like, you already tried that. It didn't work.
The mangas hilarious plus theres endless opm references
Mash's theming already makes it better than Harry Potter and like 30% of all Shonen after Dragonball Z. Like, I don't ask a lot from my anime, but I really feel fucking let down when they go against their own theming, NARUTO!
Unlike most shows mash doesn’t obviously grow every episode he gets more addicted to cream puffs
Mash reminds me a lot of mob
He’s basically the opposite of Mob by with the same physical features, the difference is Mob is physically weak compared to Mash but when it comes to his psychic powers he could probably destroy the entire planet if he’s pissed off enough. Mash lacks any super natural abilities but his physical strength is inhuman.
the good life parody at the start confirmed this video was a banger before it even began
Ngl your presentation style is very cool
Mashle when he mashes the potatoes real good idk i don't watch anime
In entertainment and literature, we know about the flat/round and static/dynamic character. Most of the time, the main character is going to be round and dynamic. Someone who is a very well-rounded character with plenty of fleshed out traits and motives, and someone who changes throughout the story, or at least has an implied change in their character in their past.
Ironically, Mashle is one of the only characters who is completely both flat and static. Someone who is basically one-dimensional AND doesn't really have any change throughout the show. Funny enough, in One Punch Man and Mob Psycho, both of which are very close in tone and style of writing, Saitama can actually be interpreted as dynamic, as it's implied that he *used* to take his strength more seriously by working out a ton, while Mob is most definitely dynamic, given his change from a quiet, shy, and introverted boy who feared his powers to the point of repressing his emotions, to someone who embraced those emotions and powers without sacrificing his kindness. Mashle never actually changes at all. He has a strong sense of justice, he is heavily family-oriented, loves cream puffs to the point some people think that's his actual magical powers, and will bulldoze his way through any problem, no matter what. He doesn't have any particular underlying reason to do what he does ("Why do I work out so much? I mean... I see a dumbbell in front of me, and I figure I should work out.")
It's rare for people to focus on a flat and static main character, and even rarer for that main character to actually be appealing to the audience. To make up for this lack of development, Mashle (as well as Mob Psycho and One Punch Man) forces the WORLD around them to be round and dynamic. For each world, there's so much to be said about their setup, and there's so much to be said about how that world changes its worldview simply by having the main character be there and so absurdly strong that it completely and utterly destroys any preconceived notions. For Mashle, a world that relies on the motto "Magic makes might" becomes upset when a non-magic person is regularly defeating the strongest wizards and witches. For Mob, him being so strong yet so kind goes against the worldview that most other espers hold that having psychic powers entitles them to the world. I haven't seen One Punch Man, but I presume that something similar takes place in that world as well, that a preconceived notion of strength is utterly destroyed by Saitama simply being there.
I would love to actually see more of this sort of trope in future works from other artists. One idea that would be cool to explore would be an Isekai where someone who has an absurd amount of power from their previous world is truck-kuned into another world where power is common, but the main character is utterly OP that there is no actual power struggle. Instead, any normal struggle the character would normally face is mitigated by the fact that they're OP, and any struggle would actually come from within (man vs self) rather than outside (man vs world).
you got a physical version of strangulation before me and you havent even read the book yet...

While Saitama has been discriminated against for being a C rank hero, that's not the main conflict of the overall plot. That would be his inability to enjoy his life as a hero. The fire that burned in his heart is dying out due to his boredom, and he'll become an emotionless husk if he can't find someone strong enough to reignite it once more.
Also while Saitama does join the hero association and is slowly rising up the ranks, it's never stated by him to be for anything other than getting famous.
When he said "god is dead" to the teacher fucking killed me. Just so random 😂
This editing makes me terribly uncomfortable, but dragon maid is S+ tier, so I trust your words funny crusty basement man.
Yeah, Mashle is a banger.
Its not the first time this premise was done but its always funny
Alright notification set to all!!! Surprise me.

glad you like them!
When watching the first season, there wasn't an episode where my wife didn't check on me at least twice because I was laughing so hard. When season 2 came out, she would just leave the house when I would start watching an episode.
The graphic design is peak
thank
I read the Manga, and it is one to one as the Anime. Only correction, he does not chose he has no magic.
READ THE MANGA PLSSSS ITS SOOO PEAK
One thing i don't like is generic villain personality. They're always act cocky. Why can't they make a calm and intelligent villain character.
Macaron?
@baw23 Macaron is overconfident and talks a lot.
That’s probably a joke
It's a parody manga so that quite makes sense 😅😅
Plus his classmate Lemon is SO FREAKING CUTE
Except she had forfeited all her conbat stats for minimum emotional support Mash already got from his male friends and that really annoys me.
I mean, why does Finn Ames and Lemon have to be so weak?
At least let them be able to use their simple magic abilities in a smart and impressive manner but all we get are just small scenes of them using these skills in not so spectacular ways.
Lemon with her conjuring handcuffs to stop Mash that one time and Finn with the one time he used location replacement magic to try bailing out from a torture session from Kuki "The seiyuu of seiyuus" Uchiyama's character.
Otherwise, they had nothing other than being cowards who are at least brave enough not to betray their friends.
2:33 yo I loved this😂😂
He didn’t decide … he has no choice
I can"t belive I"am that guy but I read the manga before the anime came out and I like watching it but it feels like something is missing every episode.
I think that it"s because the anime often instead of reamaginig ceanes to make them fit the anime as medium. Instead it just ads art in between the panels of the manga. Altho there is some very good added content too.
from what i can tell its not a stellar adaptation for sure, though i just really like the art style so im here for it
Read the manga as well, is even funnier because you can imagine happy Potter or a British voice for him and the characters.

Idk but Mash feels like character with no purpose to me, he's just an insanely strong chac who eats cream puffs 24/7 thats all. Yes he has a goal to succeed in that magical academy but its pretty short sighted to me. The side characters are also pretty bland, the half black n blonde haired guy is a wimpy guy who cries in every bad situation which isnt funny anymore and just sickening, the red haired guy is just a guy with a mc complex and somehow has an op out of knowhere, blue haired guy is just a creep and quiet guy who has a very weird relationship with his sister, and lemon is just disappointing. The rest of the characters such as the antagonists from the final few episodes from s1 have interesting backgrounds and it gave meaning to their actions which i wished it could have been applied for the main characters
Most unfunny forced and repeated hummor in anime ever. It had great potential, beging of season one was great. After that straight booty, idk how people actually laugh at their monotone hummor.
Why are you butthurt?
You said it. I haven't laughed even ONCE during this show and I'm 4 episodes in. Not only is the show not funny, (the ONE thing it was supposed to be), but it's not well written, not particularly well-characterized and the art style even leaves much to be desired.
It's supposed to be satire, but it doesn't understand what it's trying to satirize and does very little to actually subvert tropes, so it just reads like a copy of the things it's trying to parody. With terrible characters to drive the non-story forward and repetitive attempts at jokes that just always fall flat. It doesn't help that the MC's personality is non-existent afterthought.
The best part of this show is its music, I'll give it that.
