Yes, we also do the same for our kids. I actually don't know why lol. I just thought that's the way it is! Boys shld go with blue and girls with pink. But hey, i am interested to know who first started this colour separation ... very interesting!
I read, there was once a time well before pink and blue were used to distinguish between boys and girls at all. Back in those days, society was actually a lot more progressive than it eventually became, with gender-neutral clothing being the norm. All children, whether male or female, were typically dressed in white. Both boys and girls would wear dresses at this time, and the color white was chosen due to the fact that it was very easy to clean using bleach. Children wouldn’t really start wearing more colorful attire and gender-specific items like shirts and skirts until they reached the age of six or seven.
Girls can wear guys outfit, but like you said could it be the opposite?? Actually interested to get people view about this? Let me know what you think people!😀
I think the minute we choose to be different, people will judge us! People weary of the unknown! They don't like differences! For me, i don't really care. You can wear, do, behave differently...as long as it is not causing trouble to other people, then you're good to go!
Agree completely, we are free to do whatever we choose as long as it doesn't harm other people!

Anyway I still keep this belief. I give everything for my son's clothes in blue color, or I find any color but pink. Maybe after he is indipendent he could choose pink color and I dont mind

Originally blue was a girls colour while pink was a boys colour, then someone decided was needed to be switched.
My daughter loves blue, black and neutral color.. and now she don't like wear pink 😁😄 ..

Yes, surprisingly we have grown up with this dualistic colour concept. I think it is quite normal as long as we don't force others to follow😋

My opinion on this issue is that it doesnt matter. Wear what you want to wear and prepare to be judged for it by everyone else. You have a right to wear what you want and I have a right to think it's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. If you are a girl who likes the color blue then wear blue. If you are a boy and like the color pink wear pink. But don't be suprised if there are people who think you look stupid and tell you that. I went through a camo phase where in 7th grade I wore camo from head to toe and I am not in one of those areas where that is normal. I got bullied for that every day, but it was my choice to wear it. Now I dont wear all camo and I think people that do wear it everywhere look stupid. You'll never please everyone, dont try or you'll never please yourself.
