I've bought 3 pairs of Zamberlan Trail Lites and they are the best boots I've owned. I plan on wearing them forever. I wear them everyday and for everything, even in the Canadian winter and doing carpentry.
Really enjoyable to watch. I'm honestly really impressed that they are willing to make goodyear/norwegian welted hiking and trekking boots. Most don't bother and simply do a cement design.
Just bought a pair of the 1996 vioz boots and they are freaking awesome,I use them for tree work and they are good for in the tree and work really well on whatever incline or decline we work on
An incredible hiking boots, I've had my boots for 10 years and they're now being resoled buy prison workers run by Timpson's, also I've decided to buy a new pair Zamberlan Vioz Plus GTX RR Mens Boots size 43 (9UK) value for money, robust and well made, it's good to see how they are made at the factory, by the time I've worn out my second pair I most probably won't be about unfortunately.
I have got a pair of zamberlan 1107 virtex gtx rr boots. Had to go a size up as boots run small. Still breaking leather in. Need it to flex. Had to use volume reducers in boots.
Bought some merrels that lasted me 8 weeks. First week in the Amazon(rapids, waterfalls, humidity and heat) week two in the Andes mountains -32 Week 3 hiking through rivers and lakes. Week 4 and 5 back packing the length of a country. The last weeks just walking and sightseeing. Arrived back in my home country and they stank so in the bin they went. Hopefully the zamberland will last longer.
Best hiking boots I have owned so far...have them about a year now,and they have virtually no wear on the the outer sole.WORTH EVERY PENNEY !

The Rolls Royce of hiking boots. I wouldn’t wear anything else. They cost a lot but last a lifetime. They’re indestructible
