I like those elec fans w the aluminum shroud and that close out panel in front of the radiator is supposed to help force the air directly thru the radiator cores. I had a similiar set up on my BBC in my 78 LT and it kept it at 205-210 in the heat all day. Before i installed the dual fans w shroud and the panel up top it would get up to 220-240 and I had to shut it down. The clutch fan and plastic shroud GM used was actually a solid set up that kept the engine cool, it wasnt pretty but it worked. My issue was sitting in traffic, the clutch fan would lock up but it just didnt pull enough air- hence my elec fans that pulled a ton of air on 40amp relays. I had to upgrade my alternator and battery but it was worth it. The last thing i did was put louvers on each side of the hood to help let the heat out, that also helped alot. I could put my hand above the louvers and feel the very hot air as it escaped. It gets really hot under the hood w a hot big block and headers.

I would think the rear end would have pins to sit on the leaf spring I know my Dodge did when I changed the leaf springs so the rear end wouldn't move and then you put the Horseshoe clamps on, any way cool video nice car, I'm also commenting before I finished watching so..lol

I still can’t see where the rear sway bar is mounted up , on my 79 trans am do I need to put a couple of holes in the frame for it to mount up ? I have the exact same rear sway bar

So you think the Cal Tracs were causing the rear to move or enabling the rear to move? Just taking them off the rear will stay put? Your holes got elongated when the u bolts were all loose. I had T.A. tips on my 77 Camaro and the exhaust would make a popping noise. Exhaust guy figured it was sucking air in the front pipe and popping on the way out the second pipe. Cool car, love the color but the interior is a little different.

Preliminary inspection of everything upon removal found no damage. We did have to take the holes in the axle pads up to half inch to fit the new U bolts from the kit...We will see you shortly when we hit the streets!
