Got my PB a few weeks back at my local pond here in Greensboro ! 7 lber and I know there's 10 + in there. Got a 5 before that warm front that came through the past week. Winter is actually when it lights up too from what I've been told. There's something magical about catching a giant somewhere you know you gotta use your skills! Thanks for taking us along!
That little unexpected catch has happened to me twice in 56yrs. Definately catches you by surprise.hooked a car tire several times,poles and reels,and a5+lb catfish on somebody else's line . Lots more but future fish interest me more! Grt content Fletcher,always nice to see we're all human.

We have some nice public ponds here in Orlando Florida. After watching this I just might take my plastics and fish a few of them instead of the local lakes. The benches looked nice for a quick lunch while fishing too... every Angler knows that the minute you try to eat something you get a fish to bite ✅‼️

Agree with you about the public ponds in Charlotte. It is so under kept and just straight up nasty. Haha. I live up by Lake Norman but I’ve been to the first pond multiple times and every time I go I feel like I need a shower after. 🤣

Weirdest thing I ever caught was a plastic flower pot that had potting soil and a mum in it. 😅
Once caught a large mouth with a blue bottle cap stuck in its gills. At first, it look deformed. But after finding what was causing the bulge in its gills, I removed it and let her go to let her grow.

Man I can’t believe you caught those bass at that park! Lol usually the only thing I catch over there is somebody asking me for spare change. Don’t sleep on the creeks though! Some of my best public bass fishing around town is a “little” creek we drive over all the time!
