- One of the largest car shows in the country. Back to the 50's in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Just under 12,000 cars entered. This is one of the best shows I've ever been to. 5 of us drove out and back in 3 cars, putting on almost 3000 miles. People were courteous and friendly. If you're into cars, this one should be on your bucket list.
This is a great show, went once as a spectator going next year with the BelAir. Thanks Bill for another great video:))))

I just recently ran across your videos. The wife and I can watch them for hours. I don't know what motivated you to shoot these but we're grateful. This TH-cam channel is awesome. Hope you keep in good health and hope you stay safe.

Went there on june 22 2012, same year. Was a blast, so many nice cars. brought our 54 hudson hornet. Was great

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I enjoyed seeing your video! I live in a burb of the Twin Cities, but this year was our first time to go. What fun! I hope all of you felt it was worth coming back to. It's hard to explain to people just how wonderful this show is.

Fun thing is I live just a half mile from the fair grounds , I see these cars, truck every year here !! HA!!

I'd love to make it back there. The show is awesome. It's a 3500 mile round trip for us. I'd like to get out sometime in the next couple of years. I'm glad you enjoy the video.

Great Video..... I figured if i watched long enough i just might get a glimpse of my folks' old 1935 Buick 4 door sedan..... Then wouldn't you know at 31:30 there it was!!! I haven't seen the car since 1995 and thanks to your video is see the current owner has painted it red..... It was a 2 tone blue which i think looked better than the red but other than the color change it looks exactly the same! Thanks for the memories!

I gotta wonder! I'm an old guy (car guy) rebuilt and restored a few cars. I still have my '56 Continental MKII (my dad's car). However, as you look at the people at car shows, they are all "old timers" like me. Generally, people 40 and younger have little interest in "classic cars." Kids in their 20s don't even know how to change a tire; don't know what a spark plug is ... let alone a cam shaft!
As more-and-more electric cars come on line, I wonder: who is going to continue the tradition of car restoration? There are now almost no real "paint/restoration shops" ... just "clip-on" crash shops. I think that as my generation dies off; the remaining cars will go back in the garage or end up in dusty museums. What do you think? So, just for "kicks" my nephew did a video of me and my dad's MKII (Santa Barbara). The color was supposed to make the video look like a 1950's film: th-cam.com/video/NcQuvnitrKg/w-d-xo.html
I agree. I have hope whenever I see a young person interested in the hobby, and I do see it. Wow, your nephew should be working for a Hollywood studio. Great job on the video.

AWESOME video! I know how much work this takes to record and edit all of the videos. I have gone to Back to the fifties since I was an infant, havent missed a year in 20 years now! You're missing out if ya havent been to it! really quite amazing, and almost too much to handle. Nice job with your video!! Check out my channel if you're bored!
