Watched Jack's 2022 Glastonbury performance of this song versus this performance. There's no debate, the way Meg plays is distinct no matter how simple the track may be.

@@EthanR-gp9jg I knew them back in 1999 when they used to play a little dive bar called the Gold Dollar alot in my neighborhood in Detroit (Cass Corridor). I just can't believe how good Jack got over the last almost 25 years. It's like he took 2 or 3 quantum leaps forward in his career (that you rarely see once in someone's playing over that span). He wasu Uber talented back then, but super raw. His strength was in his creativity and the soul he put into it. He went for it every song. But nowadays...forget about it. He just has technical chops and virtuosity that's catapulted him into standing right up there with the all time e greats. And back in 2000, I really liked them, but in truth, I never saw that coming. There were several bands in Detroit back then I would've guessed had a far better shot of any of them were destined to be this cultural phenomenon or whathaveyou. It's all just....really amazing to me.
So yeah, for sure: I'm definitely a fanboy & all that (but one who's watched he & Meg grow from near the beginning, for whatever that's worth).
