My Grandparents were from Pigeon Roost and Poplar. I used to come up there couple times a week to visit their families. Made so many friends. I can’t wrap my beard around it. There was a war there. Thank you guys for proving your heritage. May your days be long and know God is in control.
It's incredible how deep your roots go in these areas. The memories and friendships you've built there are invaluable. Tough times really do bring out the strength and heritage of a community. May your cherished memories give you comfort, and here's to brighter days ahead.
Living in Richmond, Virginia, without your video I along with others would never have known the devastation in the mountains where folks live. It was both mesmerizing and gut-wrenching. I’ll continue to pray. I hope you make one each month to keep those communities in the forefront of our minds and wallets. I’m guessing Network channels are gone.
Water is no joke. There's no swimming in that. Just imagine what it took to move and destroy all that it did😢 The mountains won't be the same for a very long time 😭. Much love and prayers from the coast of northeast NC ❤️ OBX Natives ❤
I'm from Hueytown, Alabama. My name is Jason. Bro please know I am praying for all y'all fine folks daily. I am not in a position to be where I can come up but I tell ya what bud. . Thank you we sure need your prayers. Our heroes are working tirelessly everyday. Rescues and body recoveries are still ongoing. Good people have come from all over and have been wonderful, teaming up with our neighbors to get things done. God bless you in Alabama!
I was thinking watching those guys work....now those are REAL men right there it made me get up and go outside and start doing all the hard jobs I have been putting off here. watching them was like a rush of adrenaline
I bypass all the news channels, this is the only content I will watch, real locals reporting reality🏆 Stay safe, keep fighting and thriving. Praying for y'all from 🇦🇺🙏
I agree, because I don't trust what media says, I watch these video's and say a prayer for each one I sit and watch praying for the families who lost loved ones, the families who lost everything, I donated what I could and will continue when I have the extra money in the weeks to come, Many prayers that God gives you strength, I am so very sorry for all that has been lost,
@@cristybarber9124It's nice of you to pray for people in need. It's also nice to know when you're being bamboozled. Your distrust of mainstream media is not necessary.
Pretty awesome to see that helicopter come in rescue those people. It just amazes me to know that there’s still good people out there $6000 a day out of pocket for fuel just to help others. I’ll never forget as we all should never forget that we have to take care of each other no matter what. Thanks for the upload
Seeing people go above and beyond, like spending $6000 a day out of their own pocket to help others, shows the immense good we are capable of. It’s a testament to the power of compassion and community spirit. Let's always remember that in times of need, we can-and should-take care of each other. Thank you.
Thanks for the video! Was there yesterday from China Grove NC to deliver kerosene heaters. Will be back to bring more! Great people in Poplar, and great spirit!!! God bless you all!!!
It is so unbelievable. Our eyes are on fire. It is wild because, you can honestly see it in each other's eyes. We all experienced something tragic and are helping pick each other up. Thankful for these amazing people that I call family.
Great video, brother! I actually appreciate the fact that it has no mood music, because that way we can actually feel the mood of these brave and loyal people who are out there rescuing their own. I can't believe there aren't thousands of likes and comments on this video. Maybe it's being shadow banned or something. Nevertheless, great job! Sending prayers and donations your way. From California with love. 🙏👍💕
Thank you for adding locations on screen, it really puts it in perspective for where this is located. I’ve been on some them roads, not too far from my buddy off Fork Mountain.
Winter will be ruff for you all. Things will get tuffer as help slows down. I pray for you all. Stay strong you got this. I know you do. You are the strength of America!!
This 40-minute video is the best you'll invest in learning/seeing/feeling exactly what it's like at/near the North Carolina - Tennessee border. It's so much worse than I thought and is right there, showing areas that were obliterated, but with each new day, volunteers with helicopters and on the ground, are cutting trees, making all sorts of miracles happen ... and none of them are "from the government." These people live in very rural places by choice, but they have homes and businesses, stores and churches - except that some of these things are no more due to the flooding, mudslides, trees down, etc. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to give their best to clearing the way for things to get better and better! God bless them, one and all!
So tired of people making statements about “no govt” heartbreaking… govt is not everything nor can it be… but goodness… in such a disaster people are quick to hate still… no thanks to djt… a useless lying con man fraud … was sure to come for a Photo op tho’ that’s about all… still wanting people to pay his legal bills for his wrong doing …. Stop dismissing our country and the govt… there is always good and bad… Trump ruined this country with his lies, distortions, hate and bigotry… open thine eyes please!
Thank God for a bunch of country boys. Together you can take the impossible and make it possible. Now I pray you will keep it up and keep your land from being taken.
That is the truth! Could not be more thankful to have been in this area full of badass individuals 💪🏻💪🏻 thankful for each and everyone. we are continuing the push to make sure everyone is taken care of. We have moved into the rebuilding phase. This will take cash, materials, and laborers. I am pushing to get this video monetized. Only have around 550 more subscribers to go. Aiming to funnel revenue back into the communities 🔥🔥 Thank you for your support!
Thank y’all for everything you’re doing! May God bless ya and keep ya safe! Please know your not alone or forgotten, we (and others) are keeping y’all in prayer and doing whatever we are able, both as individuals, through our churches to try to get supplies and financial help to y’all as quickly as possible
Dr Enuff bottle in that quad drink holder. Thats how we know your a local. Thanks for sharing this video. It looked like every hill just came down around there. Bless you all in your recovery.
Haha born and raised here in these beautiful mountains. I was gone for about 10 years and have been back for 2 years. I am so thankful I was here when this happened. It has allowed me to help from the inside since the beginning. Once we made it over into TN with cell service, we could start reaching out to all of the resources. So wild. I used AI (Copilot) and Google to get coordinates for choppers to land at HUBs and more... Thank you!
Thanks great video. Helping understand how big a disaster ànd so many involved. Hearing your response reaction revealed a lot. Watching all working together so hopefull people are goʻod.❤❤❤😊
Thank you for your support! People are Good ❤❤ I have been able to witness so many acts of kindness daily, it makes me feel so happy in these crazy times. We are navigating and have entered the rebuild phase.
Bill Guyther recommended that we watch this video, and I totally agree! You really get a grip on just how cut off from the rest of the world these communities really are. Please, watch and see why this is so important to all of us!
Glad you are safe. Such beautiful country. I am grieved by the destruction it caused, but I am inspired by the resilience I see in the people. Watching and praying for everyone from Australia❤🙏
These are true Americans, at our best. Thank you for the prayers. I live in Coastal South Carolina, and we had minor winds and rain as Helene brushed by. The recovery will take months and years.
Your compassion reaches across oceans. Seeing the resilience and unity in the face of hardship is truly moving. The human spirit is remarkable, and your prayers and support from Australia make a world of difference. 🌏❤ Thank you for standing with us.
It's hard to find the right words for such profound loss and devastation. Our community's strength and resilience are truly remarkable. Together, we will rebuild and support one another through these challenging times. My thoughts are with you and your neighbors. Stay strong.
1972 born in Brevard....lived there until 1995 and moved out of state. All my family is still there... What amazes me is the fact that we lived near town... but it felt rural. (but NOT THIS rural).. if that makes sense... and Asheville/Hendersonville very close... Pisgah Nat'l forest was right there to go hiking/ sightseeing... I've never been to these areas of NC... but it looks so familar... It's crazy how scary that must have been.... if you climbed a hill to get away from floods... the mud/water coming down the hill risking mud slides...the wind...I'm sure it felt like no place was safe during all that. A giant tree BARELY missed my dads house..And get this... during the entire thing... they never lost power on that street my dad lives on... and he was blown away by that because he said this winds were crazy
Thank you so much for showing us what all is EXACTLY going on down in them Hollars. As you showed us, it is definitely hard to get around. May the good Lord Bless you all.🙏 Stay safe
It was really bad but we are doing better and stand together as a nation different states came to help us and Canada was here to I want to thank all that helped here and sent prayers ❤
Wow remarkable footage. Can't even begin to imagine what you all have been through. Whatever you do , stay on the land. Don't give it up. Stay strong and know we are all praying for everyone down there. Wish there was more I could do. I can only pray for you all. My heart goes out to the southern Appalachian ❤ from Montana.
It was so much mud! Off camera when we were pulling up, we did not realize until the 4 wheeler became stuck. I hopped off and started pushing, almost lost my shoes in the mud, need those. I thought about all that could be in the mud but felt like, too late bro, keep pushing.
I am so worried about y’all with cold fall/winter air coming. Keep us updated for any troubles or needs. Stay safe! This truly shows the struggles. Side note try turning your phone sideways as it will capture a lot more. Bless y’all! Some many of us are heartbroken and worried. Praying for the Lord shall Bless you and keep you.
Your concern is touching and deeply appreciated. The cold weather can indeed be a challenge, but knowing there are people like you offering support and prayers brings warmth. Turning the phone sideways for a better view is a helpful tip-practical and thoughtful. Heartfelt thanks for your compassion and continued prayers. Stay strong and safe.
Incredible journey. So glad you found your brother's and daughter. What a relief! Amazing recovery efforts by amazing people! That's what real Americans are made of!
Thank you so much!!!! Yes! Living in the unknown for a few days was so brutal 💀 the pressure I felt inside my head until I new they were all good... my heart hurts for all that lost loved ones.
Not sure why but the double choppers made me tear up as if I was waiting for the Calvary. Lots of prayers to you guys. I’m in southwest Virginia we got hit here too, Appalachia strong.
Appalachia strong! Thank you for your support and I am happy you made it out alive as well. Many teary eyed moments but am thankful to see all these faces smiling and pushing through.
Great depiction of the people who live "isolated" because they like it. I'm sick of hearing disaster administrators and managers voice their opinions that these people need to abandon their homes and seek refuge in destroyed towns where there's no housing, no jobs and absolutely no joy. How silly they sound. The laundry is gettin done. Someone will be ordering an old fashioned wringer washer if power isn't restored soon. Bless them all.
So glad I ran across this video update. You are the young man that led my husband, myself and another friend, to check on Mr. Honeycutt down on the tracks Thank you for sharing this video Our hearts are broken for all your hometown and the many others.
Thank you for sharing this. I've been curious to see what the clean-up really looks like, I live elsewhere. This is where my relatives & ancestors lived, I haven't seen another video that shows such a good lay of the land & what people are doing.
Taking care of each other will make you stronger and you will never forget the struggle that you had to endure to make it as a loving community pulling each others weight and people coming together to make sure they had what they needed when they needed it and that warms my heart and I am sending my love to all of you God Bless and no one can’t say that there are some wonderful people in North Carolina
Your message of love and support is heartwarming. It's true-coming together through adversity strengthens the bonds within a community. Thank you for your kind words.
Hey thanks for the vid I'm just around the corner in redhill ain't been down that way yet been meaning to get some vids down there but it's horrible be safe
Thank you for watching! The support is unreal. Hey! We are opening a Non Profit in Red Hill at the Red Hill Hardware store. So far, the name is "Donation Depot." All free. Leave a donation if you want. We will pay the bills and the proceeds will go back to the community. What an opportunity! Stop by and see us! Official open date is December 1st. It is so wild out. Please be safe also. Nice to meet you.
What awesome coverage. Thanks so much for making it and sharing it. You are doing a good thing. GOD bless you. We would have no way of actually seeing this if you weren't not filming it. Making contributions to as many as I can and to Samaritans Purse and the Cajun Navy. Hope to do more. BLESS YOU ALL IN YOUR ENDEAVORS. STAY SAFE
Yes, this coverage is so important. My heart breaks for all these affected areas. It's beautiful to see Americans helping Americans and especially locals helping one another. God bless them all. Sending my prayers and support. ❤💜❌⭕

It sounds like you have wonderful memories from those trips. The people in these areas truly have a unique warmth and resilience. It’s heartening to hear such stories of good times and good folks. Here’s to all those incredible people and the lasting bonds they’ve formed.

Thank you for your Citizens service. I appreciate you so much. I also appreciate all the other friends and people of these communities who are trying to help rebuild their houses/homes/roads/highways:embankments. Thank you so very much, sir.!❤❤
No problem at all! These are my people and are very important to me. We are all doing our best to help each other and those all across WNC. Everyone naturally stood up and rose to the challenges without question and continue to find any way possible to make a difference. Absolutely amazing to witness and be a part of. Thank you so much!!!
That’s a heartfelt wish, especially when the cold months can be so challenging. Here’s hoping everyone finds warmth, safety, and comfort as winter approaches.
Thank you so much Susan! My name is Cody and it is nice to meet you! Hope you and your family are doing as best as possible. If you need anything, please reach out. You can find me at Burnsville Hub on Facebook.
Im not to far from y'all and went a week without power and it sucks but good ole country boys be alright... it's good for people to see what's really going on up there . keep us updated my friend and I'll be watching to see how its going
Just thinking about all the folks that are hating on their fellow Americans because they may have been successful in making millions where most of us weren't, but here some of them are using their own machines, aircraft, trucks, and equipment plus fuel and time to help their fellow man, complete strangers. If you have ever hated, put down, or just been a little jealous then try to remember this point in time. We can't take stuff to our grave. Nobody gets out alive & the people who have the coolest toys may just be your lifeline one day!! The world still has more good than bad or we wouldn't wanna stay!! ❤
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment! It’s really heartwarming to see people come together and help each other, especially during such tough times. Our community definitely values kindness and mutual support. Let’s keep focusing on the good and lifting each other up.
Thank you for watching! This has been terrible yet beautiful at the same time seeing the destruction and everyone coming together is unreal. Truly thankful to be able to help.
❤ Amazing job 👍 Glad to hear something awesome. I think as painful as it is, people who aren't living it should definitely watch a few videos from different people. It's the only way to get the entire picture from different spots.. I've been through my share of horror, but this will take the air out of your sail. I definitely appreciate life more no matter what gets me down, I refuse to stay down! God bless and never let anyone or anything get in your way!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and resilience. It's so important for people to see different perspectives and understand the full picture. Stay strong and keep that positive outlook. Blessings to you too! 💪
Thank God you all are alive. Stuff can be replaced. I think the worst is yet to come. Mold, bugs, snakes, i went through one in Texas in 1983 people were getting shot over a bag of ice. Looting was terrible I will be praying for everyone affected by this horrific storm
Thank you Cody. I think you did an awesome job telling your story. I would love for you to continue making real videos about your life. We watch almost no tv. All we watch is TH-cam. Your story is unique. You could do really well. Love and praying for you and your community. Lonette Little from Henagar AL. NE AL
Thank you so much for your support! I will add more updated videos soon 🔥🔥 I appreciate the kind words very much and am thankful to have been recording. I do my best to keep my phone ready. Take care Lonette Little! It has been nice to meet you and everyone else during this.
"Angels Amongst us" that is what is in this video! The best video I have seen just so you know! Very well put together! Prayers and good vibes sent to all! It is absolutely earth shattering to see it. I can't fathom living it! You people will forever be embedded as the strongest I mhave ever seen. Your resiliency is awe inspiring! I don't doubt your tenacity! Yall have managed to turn this very ugly into a beautiful story of your people! It can't be seen with the eye but I feel it in my soul! Y'all are going to need all that because it's going to be a while before normal has any kind of meaning. I do hope you share your journey! You are Gods people doing God's work. When he is with you you are going to be alright. Just rooting big for you all not too far away but from North Georgia! Only better days ahead is my hope for you all! Again praying!
Thank you so much! I have made so many friends that have lived right around me it is unreal. From locals to people 1000 miles away, the love and hope is real. I look forward to seeing everyone and watching us all go on our missions to make the biggest difference we can in the lives we come into contact with. Whatever this event has opened within us, I am thankful... My mission lately has been connecting the distribution sites across WNC to Operation: Communication 828, which is a HUB that has warehouses, supplies, trucks and volunteer resources that are all working to get supplies where they need to go while reallocating surplus items to areas that need said items. Below is a link to the form that distributors across WNC can fill out to get connected with Operation: Communication 828 Thank you again! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSejp62ceyaLaZns6xKbQD94EuBB3HQefzrDWFZDHstF7-r90g/viewform?usp=sf_link
There has been so much good being done! There is good being done now and good being planned for the future. To be honest, it is really an epic time to witness.
No worries! Thank you! Here is a linktree of resources that can help you find places that need help. Pensacola in Yancey County just reopened and everyone is hoping to get supplies plus help in that area. Stay safe! linktr.ee/OperationCommunication828
My heart is with you all 🙏🙏🙏 This is absolutely unbelievable what you guys are doing .. The thing is nobody up there was prepared for anything like this and all those mountains dont help 😢 Our government is despicable not giving help right from the getgo .. Thank you for sharing this video 👍🙏❤️
Thank you so much! It has been unreal and the support from everyone has been so amazing! No one was prepared. Unfortunately. Moving forward though, we have all come together and have entered the rebuilding phase. Thank you for watching.
We hike there once a year. I'll try and get up there and help wherei can. Im glad that house by the railroad made it, always liked seeing it on the drive in
Thank you so much! Hopefully it counts the subscribe. I really appreciate your time that you put into subscribing and also the fact you commented to let me know. We are all doing our part.
Thank you! We have all pulled together to make the best out of the worst thing ever to hit our area. So much thanks to all those that have come from so far to help all that are here.
I don't watch mainstream media anymore. I watch videos like this because I want the truth. I can't help but notice that this video is almost 2 weeks into the disaster and I see no Federal resources. Even the red helo looked private. My heart is broken for the people in the beautiful Appalachian and Blue Ridge mountains. The earth has a way of healing itself. I pray that the people can heal as well. With God everything is possible. Thank you for letting all know what's really happening up there. God Bless you all. ❤❤❤
This video is Day 1 - 5, but we have just recently been sent the National Guard. The help in the video is all private. We saw state trucks for the first time down Huntdale today. 10-15-24
I feel for you all. Praying that you all will soon have a sense of normalcy. It is so sad that all you work for can be gone in a split second. Remain Troopers. Don't let this still your joy.
I hope and pray that maybe before I am too old I can visit North Carolina that is one goal in my life to see it’s so beautiful up there and I’m in Mississippi been living here all my life
We would be more than happy to have you! Give it a while and it should be back up to normal-ish. So many people working together to bring it back to the way it was.
Absolutely. The spirit of resilience and action in the face of adversity is awe-inspiring. Communities like ours in North Carolina and those in Mississippi show the true strength of coming together and moving forward, no matter what life throws our way.
Wow, that’s truly tragic. Safety is paramount, especially in such hazardous conditions. Thank you for the warning, and may their memory remind us all to stay vigilant and look out for one another. Where did this happen? Can you link a story?
I did wonder why he would do that soon after the storm. Unless he was muddy and couldn't get a shower. There were so may lies going around, who knows. I've heard the water is toxic many times. There's gas, oil, feces 'cause the sewage plant was washed away. People cleaning out there businesses, if the mud got on them it burned their skin.
Badass video. I live in rural Burke Co and have spent lots of time on my adv bike in that region. Ive been mucking and that type of stuff round here, but just about wrapped up round here. Avery is bad, along 19e Minneapolis area, and might head there next to help. Do you guys have enough help up there in poplar/pigeon roost/upper poplar/bailey? Let me know bud
Thankfully everyone here all has the same mindset, get it done. We all appreciate your support! They are rebuilding the roads, power is back on, if you have satellite internet you are good. As for in danger and needing immediate assistance, I would look into the Pensacola area in Yancey County. Horror stories unfortunately... You can also check Burnsville Hub on Facebook. It has work, people in need and answers to many questions. Feel free to ask there also, someone will answer you fast. Thank you for all you have done!
@officialinyu we're the same over here too. When people come to help, we send them to areas hit harder than we were. It is a pride and compassion thing. I've seen it over and over. I'm on Burnsville Hub, and while Burnsville, Bakersville and Pensacola were all nailed- they have hundreds and hundreds of people helping. I'm more interested in helping folks who don't have a bunch of help. The smaller, lesser known communities, with people like me. Even if I need help, I don't like accepting it.
Prayer gives us a chance to tell God what we want. Then prayer helps us be quiet, listen to God and accept what God wants for us, even if it is the opposite of what we want.
They just opened up Pensacola and Cane River in Yancey County near Burnsville. Those areas were hit major with people living in tents because of the destruction. I'll be figuring out how to get up there next week. You can also check out Burnsville Hub on Facebook. It has updated info on where to take and who needs what.
This is the real American people's heart. No politics just passion

yup
truth and us city folk down in Charlotte will be back there spending money like guns a blazing soon enough
You will have so much firewood for a hundred years. Much love from Australia in the great Dividing Range ❤

Praying does nothing. I'm sure all the people that died were praying NOT to die yet like always, never works.
like all the ones who 'prayed' not to lose everything they own, yet they did. Yup praying sure does a whole lot.
I bypass all the news channels, this is the only content I will watch, real locals reporting reality🏆 Stay safe, keep fighting and thriving. Praying for y'all from 🇦🇺🙏

and GOD bless YOU TOO guy
Awesome 👍 I saw where some got snow ❄️ last night. Those heaters may save lives!!
All that damage is unbelievable, god be with these people and get their lives back to normal
It is so unbelievable. Our eyes are on fire. It is wild because, you can honestly see it in each other's eyes. We all experienced something tragic and are helping pick each other up. Thankful for these amazing people that I call family.
I have some good friends who live there! Thank you so much for your help! Words cannot express...
Thank you so much for your support! We are all doing our best to help as many as possible. We have now moved into the rebuild phase.
THANK YOU, Cody for documenting and sharing. It was so good to hear Uncle David's laugh. God bless y'all, and know that we're still praying!
No problem at all! I had to rewatch it to hear him but I found it! Thank you so much for the support!
Tears and prayers from CT. My heart is broken for you. You people are so strong. May God bless you.
Your support means so much to us. Thank you for your heartfelt words and prayers. We're staying strong together. Blessings to you.

Thank you for your support and kind words. It's truly inspiring to see how everyone comes together in times of need. God bless and stay strong!
I kept screaming slow it down you gonna hit that hole and end up having to walk out of here....LOL
No mood music lol 😂. I don’t like it either! Love hearing laughter & small talk. Now that’s real folks. The real deal! 😊 God bless. & Many Prayers
Thank you for adding locations on screen, it really puts it in perspective for where this is located. I’ve been on some them roads, not too far from my buddy off Fork Mountain.
No problem! All of these little areas have been getting so much traffic lately. If travelling, please use extreme caution!
Winter will be ruff for you all. Things will get tuffer as help slows down. I pray for you all. Stay strong you got this. I know you do. You are the strength of America!!
Your words are encouraging and thank you for the support 🔥
@officialinyu I'm sharing it to facebook now, that should gain a lot for you.. I wish I could be there to help.
Thanks for helping out
Thank you so much for your support!
Thank you!
Prayers to all. Thanks for showing us what is happening where the storms hit. God bless. Everyone is pitching in. This is USA working together.
Absolutely. It's heartening to see the country come together in times of need. Here's to everyone's efforts and resilience. Stay strong!
Thank you from Ohio! Blessings to all!
Thanks for the love from Ohio! Your support truly lifts our spirits. Blessings to you as well!
Thanks, brother, for all your efforts
You got it, friend! Just doing my part. Thanks for the support!
Bill Guyther recommended that we watch this video, and I totally agree! You really get a grip on just how cut off from the rest of the world these communities really are. Please, watch and see why this is so important to all of us!
So brave!
Keep those videos coming
Thank you and shall do 🔥
I'm up on mine fork old road , I devastated from what has happen to our little county 😢
It's hard to find the right words for such profound loss and devastation. Our community's strength and resilience are truly remarkable. Together, we will rebuild and support one another through these challenging times. My thoughts are with you and your neighbors. Stay strong.
Prayers for all that are helping clean this mess up for all these people God be with you all
Thank you! Yes, we have entered the rebuild phase. We appreciate the support!
Great work, great video and God bless you all
Thank you so much! We are pushing it 🔥🔥 We have entered the rebuild phase.
We are only 40 miles from Brevard, been through there a few times. There are so many places that are just gone all over WNC.
@@akbychoice As bad as it was for Brevard I think they escaped a lot of what other communities didn't...
I can't begin to imagine what it's like to have to live like this every day.
One day at a time while we help as many as possible.
These mtn communities...there's only one way in and out, one of the most beautiful areas I've lived in
That's a fact! I am so thankful to be here. Especially with all this going on. I could not imagine being anywhere else than right here with my people.
Thank you so much for showing us what all is EXACTLY going on down in them Hollars. As you showed us, it is definitely hard to get around.
May the good Lord Bless you all.🙏 Stay safe
Thanks for your kind words and blessings. It's a tough situation, but knowing we've got support means the world to us. Stay safe and take care.
Good work on getting information out to us all. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the support! We are pushing it 🔥🔥 We have entered the rebuild phase.
Thank you so much! It has been terrible yet beautiful each day seeing the destruction, but the overflow of good from human kind is unreal.
I’ve never seen so much mud. Bless those guys🙏
It was so much mud! Off camera when we were pulling up, we did not realize until the 4 wheeler became stuck. I hopped off and started pushing, almost lost my shoes in the mud, need those. I thought about all that could be in the mud but felt like, too late bro, keep pushing.
@ 🙏🙏🙏🙏u r a hero‼️
Bless them all.
they been on that land for generations and they will never leave it.

Thank you for your support! We have entered the rebuild phase. I will post updated videos soon 🔥🔥
These images are mind blowing. God help these people. Thanks for the video
God Bless
No problem and thank you! Our eyes are on fire.

Thanks for your story.
Thank you for watching. It has been a terrible yet beautiful moment for WNC's history and we are all thankful for the help from everyone.
Thank you and Amen
Thank you so much!
I pray that all are safe and warm for the winter.
That’s a heartfelt wish, especially when the cold months can be so challenging. Here’s hoping everyone finds warmth, safety, and comfort as winter approaches.
Very well done and I live in Mitchell Co near Spruce Pine.
Thank you so much for your support! I will be uploading more videos soon with updates. We have now moved into the rebuilding phase.
@officialinyu I'll be watching... wish all of you the best of luck and god knows we need some luck

NE AL

Still seeing all the pictures and videos of the damage. My mind still can't wrap around what it really is like.
~Keep showing these videos so people can keep helping.

You too!
Below is a link to the form that distributors across WNC can fill out to get connected with Operation: Communication 828

I feel for you all. Praying that you all will soon have a sense of normalcy. It is so sad that all you work for can be gone in a split second. Remain Troopers. Don't let this still your joy.
I see the American spirit is alive and well. Brotherly love !! Too old to help with the clean up, sending money and prayers !!

These people don’t sit around and whine. They get out there and act! It’s like this in Mississippi where Katrina hit.
Absolutely. The spirit of resilience and action in the face of adversity is awe-inspiring. Communities like ours in North Carolina and those in Mississippi show the true strength of coming together and moving forward, no matter what life throws our way.
White plastic tarps held down to the ground are good visuals from the air for helipads.

Don't touch the river water, it's toxic. A man and his dog went swimming and they both ended up dying. God Bless everyone. 😊
Wow, that’s truly tragic. Safety is paramount, especially in such hazardous conditions. Thank you for the warning, and may their memory remind us all to stay vigilant and look out for one another. Where did this happen? Can you link a story?
@officialinyu I heard it watching a video, which was a couple weeks ago. Sorry I don't remember.
@officialinyu what about scooping mud out of houses and stripping sheetrock? Have yall been doing any guttin?
@officialinyu we're the same over here too. When people come to help, we send them to areas hit harder than we were. It is a pride and compassion thing.
I've seen it over and over. I'm on Burnsville Hub, and while Burnsville, Bakersville and Pensacola were all nailed- they have hundreds and hundreds of people helping.
I'm more interested in helping folks who don't have a bunch of help. The smaller, lesser known communities, with people like me. Even if I need help, I don't like accepting it.
Western North Carolina Strong!!!
Prayer gives us a chance to tell God what we want. Then prayer helps us be quiet, listen to God and accept what God wants for us, even if it is the opposite of what we want.

If you know of anywhere needs help my son would love to take supplies he has a side by side
