    my colours change drastically with the GIF export. Any way to get more accurate colours?

      @@oanacazan1945 Unfortunately, there is no easy way for me to diagnose your exact issue without knowing more about your project and what steps you took. I recommend re-exporting and use trial and error in changing the export settings until you get it right. 👍

      @@MikeMurphyCo all good, found a work around. It's a bit of a process but there is way more control over colour and quality.
      Basically I exported in as a video, brought it into photoshop and imported video to frames and exported gif settings from there!

    My gifs, export with some parts grainy? Is there any settings to change this? They look fine in after effects!

      Are you using pre-Comps in your project? What settings are you using to export your GIFs? Have you tried exporting other GIFs or is the problem only happening with one particular project?

    Awesome thanks, I used the regular GIF instead of animated GIF and ended up with hundrets of comps on my desktop ;p

    Animated GIF with Transparency (Match Source) option is not showing. Is there any issues or i need to install any plugin?

    • @MikeMurphyCo
      @MikeMurphyCo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there,
      No plugins are needed for Match Source, but might depend on the footage you are using or the settings you have selected. This article should help you out. 👍

    Hello! there is no transparency option for me (1:54). Already select transparency grid.

      Happy to help you troubleshoot if you can provide some more details and share the steps you are taking in AE and what issue you are running into when trying to export.
      The Transparency Grid is just to confirm whether or not you have a background layer. So, when you clicked on the Transparency Grid icon, did it display the checkerboard grid to confirm you had no background layer?
      If so, what steps did you take next and what are you selecting in Adobe Media Encoder?

    • @MikeMurphyCo
      @MikeMurphyCo  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Confirm that the Resolution below your Composition is set to ‘Full’ and not something like ‘Third’. Also, what are you trying to export as a GIF and what settings did you use? Any details you can provide about the steps you tool will better help me troubleshoot for you. 👍

    Would this give me a smaller file size vs exporting it as an alpha channel video? I need to add it to my website home page banner and need a video/gif with the best quality to file size ratio. Also, would it be better to use the png sequence in photoshop to do it?

    • @MikeMurphyCo
      @MikeMurphyCo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mattm7426 Adobe Media Encoder is just a standalone app that does basically the same thing as if you exported from AE or Photoshop, but makes it easier to batch export and process and frees up the other apps so you don’t have to wait for exporting.
      So if you are more comfortable using Photoshop to export, then use that. As for file size/quality , it’s a trial and error game/dance. Keep trying different settings until you get it right. 🍀🍀🍀
