i watch both your video on front and back bleeding brakes, and you made it simple for me. thankyou very helpful.
this video actually helped me a lot, i was in the process of bleeding my brakes when i had to search for how to do it, I've bled plenty of car brakes but a motorcycle is totally different, thanks for the video man, its was great.
FINALLY--- the right way and well explained-- awesome vid guys.
I like the "open, closed" variation. Keeps us guessing.
This video made it easier for me to bleed the brakes on my VFR800. Thanks
very detailed and informative. nice job, thank you
was I the only one who got hypnotized when he was opening and shutting the bleeder valve.....
10 minutes of opening it up, then shutting it...my life finally has some consistency..
Thank U so much I Liked all your videos . alot of information and so clear . thanks again
Open, Shut, Ok, Open, Shut, Ok, Open, Shut, Ok...
Thanks for the video
Thanks for the video brochscheller, Method worked on my goldwing..But on my Dyna i cant even get fluid to come out of the MC banjo bolt hole. I have just replaced the MC plunger and seals with new and still nothing out of the MC. Fluid is at same level as 2 says ago. Any suggestions? and thank you
good tutorial, thanks
Could you not reverse fill? i.e. empty reservoir and line, then pump new fluid through the bleeder valve into the reservoir?
omg-how many times do you have to that???? damn! I did not see one bubble!!!
on my suzuki c109 there are two bleeding nipples on the rear brake, which one, should I bleed or should I bleed both?
can you also post viseo about bleeding the clutch?
When you bleed the back brake do youbleed the front brakes at the bleeder on the side of the front callipers?
Why the open position is to the right? What happened to lefty loosey righty tighty?
And you can now download "open it up... and shut it" on iTunes.
I'd say that's a pretty "open and shut" case fella's!
when you bleed brakes do you have to keep adding brake fluid though the master cylinder
Is this the same for Scooters? Why can't you just keep pumping the clutch to get more out?
I like the part when he said, Open it up.....and shut it.
hi I have a gsx r 750 when it gets hot it wont start back up until its cooled down it has compression spark plugs good getting gas don't understand it not sucking in air around engain gas tank vevt good getting gas good can ride bike for prolly 30 miles then shuts down and wont start until cool again if u can give advise thanks im thinking its valves or timeing chain not sure
if you got a bike with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, do you only bleed the front? or can u bleed the rear drum brakes as well? sry i'm not so experienced in dealing with drum brakes, all the cars i've had are disc brakes so they all had a bleeder valve, but for my rear brakes on my bike, i dont see a bleeder.
I forgot... what do you do after you open it up?
Haha kidding, thanks for the video!
10 minutes of open it up, and shut work out video, now available on DVD and blu ray
open, shut. open, shut. open, shut... :) magic word
Couldn't you just use a one way valve in the line leading from your bleeder valve instead of having to manually pump the lines forward?
ive done this about a hundred times and my brake lever is still soft, what could be the problem?
hi mate have you replaced the pads then bleed should be good hope this helps
Suggestion: you skipped over the little things like fitting the tube over the bleeder. This leaves beginners like me questioning how you got from one step to another
Nah you don't need to bleed your rear brakes mate. Drums work via hydraulic pushing/pulling so there is no liquid involved. Just keep your lines well lubricated and it'll be fine.
im sorry, its still not very clear to me, so you open it up and shut it...right?
hello
sham wow
"Ok"

MANUAL BARRAGAN- you have no spatial awareness... I bet you fall down a lot huh?
Thanks! As for the folks and their snarky comments about "open / shut", just don't open your mouth and shut up. I'm a novice and this is helpful. I followed your instructions for the rear breaks and it worked like a charm.
