- Looking for a great MBA program in New York City? Great, so is everyone else! Like Columbia, NYU Stern gets A LOT of applications, so they really, really want to know (a) if you want NYU Stern, not just the city, and (b) that you have what it takes.
The NYU Stern essays are unusual, but in this video Angela Guido focuses on the much neglected and equally tricky interviews. It would be a shame to survive the challenging MBA essays just to fall on your face as soon as you have to talk to someone, right?

I gotta say this video is very accurate. I interviewed with Stern around a month ago, the interviewer definitely asked a lot about the post MBA career and not-so-subtly hinted that international students need to be flexible with locations for post-MBA postings. In the end I got admitted.

Good question!! But our expertise really extends to top US and European schools more than those in Oceania. It's not a bad idea for a future series, but anything we shared now would be guessing. Check out our other videos about how to research schools and make sure to figure out what you want and need from your MBA first (recruiting opportunities, network, coursework to facilitate goals, etc.). And THEN go look at schools and see if they provide that. Good luck!
