- The question "Should I include 'LLC' in my trademark?" should really be rephrased as "Do I WANT to include LLC in my trademark?" When it comes to trademarking a name and the trademark registration process, it all depends on what you want your trademark to be. A business name is not the same as a trademark.

You mentioned your LLC name, and you have various “sub companies” like,”all up in your business” that you RUN UNDER your LLC.

there is a problem with “all up in your business” does your LLC cover it?

Under the MAIN LLC and still be covered from liability etc?

No, it is not necessary to form a new entity, you can elect to have the LLC taxed as a corporation.

Hello. I am a bit late for this one but I have a question: I have a LLC I just created called Maromba LLC. I will be selling workount clothing and equipment such as yoga mat and probably regular apparel in the future. Do I trademark just the word: Maromba, or Maromba Activewear?

Question: I own a clothing brand called SZNS, but in December 2020 someone applied for the "SZNS, LLC" word mark in the clothing sector. Am I still eventually able to apply for a mark that just contains "SZNS" in clothing?
Highly unlikely.

@@kurtlanta yeah, that's pretty much it. But if theirs gets denied due to a likelihood of confusion then yours probably would too. You may have grounds to oppose or cancel their registration if you have prior use, but that depends on a lot of stuff.

Can you use your LLC to registered your trademark?
Depends on what you mean by "use" your LLC. The LLC can be the registered owner of the trademark. But an LLC is not a substitute for trademark registration.
Great video! One thing isn't clear, maybe because English is not my first language. If my business name is xxxxx Jewelry LLC, can i just trademark xxxxx without the Jewelry?
