Let's Makeover Some Birdhouses/Butterfly Birdhouses

- 3 DIY ways to take a plain old birdhouse and make it over into a beautiful butterfly birdhouse.
Here is what you will need:
Hot glue gun
paint
scissors
flowers
leaves
wire cutters
butterflies
littles stones
stickers

I redid some bird houses using pine cones. I didn't even know they made shingles for dollhouses. Thanks for the tip.

I'm so glad I ran across this in my feed. I've been wanting to try crafting but haven't found anything that struck my interest. These are beautiful and I love watching the care you take putting them together and the designs are endless. It seems like something that's easy to start and stop and shouldn't take up too much room. Perfect for me and I can't wait to see more of your designs. I'm imagining different bird houses for different times of the year and how they can be decorated. So excited to start
That is a wonderful idea to color the butterflies and then cut them out and attach them. Yes! They are a great project that you can start and stop as you please. I have made some Halloween birdhouses and some Christmas ones too! I will make some more videos 😀👍👍

What paint do you use if it will be outdoors? Would you use an sealer?
My birdhouses are mostly for indoors. I make my butterflies 🦋 and flowers 🌸 out of paper.

I make some of my butterflies or at any craft store like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joann's Fabrics stores, I am always on the lookout for cool butterflies!!! 🦋👍😀
Can you tell us where you get your flowers?
I got the flowers from Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics 😃👍
I've also seen people shop thrift shops and use old flowers from other projects. You can get them really cheap that way especially if you catch some on 50% off days
