- Manufactured only by Viking-Cives, the TowPlow and Bi-Directional TowPlow truck combination outperforms all other designs in highway applications.
The TowPlow can clear two lanes at once up to 55 MPH, which dramatically reduces costs when compared to using two trucks and operators.
The Bi-Directional TowPlow allows operators to plow two lanes at a time to the left or right. This patented Viking-Cives design reduces back drifting across the pavement and can easily be implemented with the flick of a switch inside the cab.
It says less trucks and man power yet there was a warning vehicle behind the truck
Because of idiots like you on the road crammin’ up their ass!!
a warning vehicle that isn't sucking up gas and maintenance cost like a plow would.
Usually the pilot trucks aren't operators, just someone within the department with a license.
I’m surprised that the union approved this
They are going way to fast to get a good result!
They have to go fast because everyone is in a hurry!
Well now you can use less trucks but that tow looks hard to control
no its not really hard to control
@@doktorkarotte3835 how do you Know wait let me guess you do this shit
@@doktorkarotte3835 oh yeah thanks for telling me I thought it be hard
I've pulled one before, it's not hard to control. I work for MoDoT, but it doesn't clean the lane of travel very good compared to running two trucks with under body plows.
humans vs nature throwdown ‼️
Obvs works best in summer 🤣🤣🤣
COOL
Until you are stuck behind one and the operator is just trying to collect a little overtime from the state. Then you won't think it's such a great idea.
Here's a video of a tow-plow in action in Canada: th-cam.com/video/ndeUe1UzLuk/w-d-xo.html
Completely junk lol more problems than worth
