Alhaitham doesn't have huge AOE on his skill tbh. His burst has big range, but it doesn't do a lot of damage since you're typically using it just to refresh mirrors anyway.
only Haitham's burst has big AOE potential, skill aka his main dmg source has decent AoE as for Neuvillette, his aoe is indeed good. but in the same element, theres that one Harbinger who actually has an insane AoE
neuvillette doesnt even really need a support and he benefits from having 4 elements in the party, thats actually insane. and on top of that he has a huge splash radius
Alhaitham is my definition of very simple to understand (He feels like a Patch 1 character) and set up yet has braindead damage ever since we got Hu Tao.
And I still can't believe people to this day believe he was fine in his pre nerf state. In his pre nerf state he would have absolutely dwarfed any dps of teams because of his insane scalings. His nerf for necessary for the balance of the game.

In his pre nerf state his burst did as much damage as a Shenhe buffed ayaka burst at only 3 mirrors with no buffs. I'm talking no spread, no nahida, no nothing. Just raw damage. And his scaling was also bonkers. He would have broken the game if they released him as is.

The problem with Eula is that her burst dmg is high but by the time her burst explodes all the dpses in the video would’ve been done already. No matter how good your Eula is her big damage will always be backloaded which is a problem for showcases like this
Just like Hutao & Alhaitham, Neuvillette will most likely be consistent in clearing the hardest content in the game (spiral abyss). These three are on fielders that are not reliant to their burst for high dmg and most importantly they are sustained.
@@Konomidebanshouwashikisesur my point is not about ST or AOE. It's about sustained on fielders with high damage & without relying on burst. Childe's main source of dmg is through his nuke which is tied to his burst. He's still super good though.
The thing with Hutao or Alhaitham is they can sometimes suk against flying enemies. And you know there is tons of flying bullshit in the abyss, they added one this patch too. If you want dps that can deal with any situation other then the shields of their elements, it's probably Neuvillette, Tighnari, Ganyu, Wanderer etc...they can do both aoe and single target, they're the most consistent imo. Tho I cleared this patch abyss with using only 6 characters instead of 8 on floor 12 and its not like I got any c6 5star characters. You don't need to pull for a certain dps to clear the abyss anyways, the most important thing is support characters at the end of the day.
@@destiny49 She was supposed to be a battery support(all archons are made to be supports for longer unit lifespan and don't get power crept often) for units who have ER problems when Hoyo started making units with 80 ER cost. but her multipliers on her burst are cracked, and when you have her c2, she's stupidly strong.
That is probably an Emblem or 2pc/2pc Blizzard Strayer/Noblesse Ayaka. Some if these nuke showcases might also sacrifice ER so they can not do a second rotation. Builds like these can be bad in actual combat because it overkill mobs even in the Spiral Abyss and consistent damage can be better.

Try pairing neuvillette with beidou, you will see something interesting... Fastest electrocharged application ever with beidous burst. So many numbers poping up you can't keep track. I hit 100k per tick with neuv charge attack and didn't even realise.
@@soyeonxxn No. They both have their own pros and cons. In fact, a lot of teams have both of them. Beidou and fischl partnership can be considered similar to benett and xiangling. I am running Neuv + beidou + fischl + kazuha
Difference with hu tao and neuvillette is they almost have the same damage. But hu tao is nuke and single target but neuvillette is on another level in terms of aoe and can still do 2 charge atk because of his balls.

Raiden is in her weaken state, meaning she is technically taking about DOUBLE the amount of damage and is totally immobile. So..... it's helpful that you should only consider the relative clearing speed between each run rather than the big numbers.

I'm AR 60 and have been consistently fully clearing the abyss for the past few cycles. I just liked his rotations, timing, camera angle and gameplay smoothness, hence the comment. I regret not pulling for scara. I pull for kokomi when I came back playing this 3.8, I got her in 6 pity. but I got yelan as well in 4.0. now I have good hydro supports, but no dps to use them.
Absolutely go for wanderer on the rerun if u even want him just a little bit, just his exploration value makes him worth it you could cheese puzzles and fly to areas u normally couldn’t

It’s nice to have a driver dps obviously but some of the best teams work with just off fielders, and not having kokomi earlier sucked. Yaemiko (or fischl) are honestly good enough to support the hydro dps alone
He can do 750k personal damage in CAx4 (eq pre rot) in a hyperbloom team, then you have to keep in mind there are hyperblooms and with Raiden + Nahida those are also aoe so it’s like 1.2m aoe dps in a single rot in a f2p team with f2p investment
You doing nuke showcase its not valid for "the best dps" Cuz all the pyro/hydro/cryo character that have more than 200% atk multiplier on a single hit / more than 10%% max hp multiplier in single hit can do the same or any other element character that have more than 400% atk multiplier / 200% em multiplier in single hit can do the same Even aloy can do the same If its nuke showcase the winner is always gonna be eula,hu tao,childe,nilou,raiden
Oh right i forgot something,all the atk multiplier character can do a showcase ALL of them just because bennet exist And also with mona and crit fishing build all the characters (even kokomi) can do nuke showcase
Neuv needs better support. The ones we have at the moment aren't his ideal team. I guess Kazuha is nice. Here's hoping he's even more busted with Furina.

Ayaka uses Al haitham sword so i guess they just use best weapon that author has on account

You doing nuke showcase its not valid for "the best dps" Cuz all the pyro/hydro/cryo character that have more than 200% atk multiplier on a single hit / more than 10%% max hp multiplier in single hit can do the same or any other element character that have more than 400% atk multiplier / 200% em multiplier in single hit can do the same
Even aloy can do the same
If its nuke showcase the winner is always gonna be eula,hu tao,childe,nilou,raiden
Oh right i forgot something,all the atk multiplier character can do a showcase ALL of them just because bennet exist
And also with mona and crit fishing build all the characters (even kokomi) can do nuke showcase
Another thing i forgot heizou is better than wanderer for nuke showcase

Neuv needs better support. The ones we have at the moment aren't his ideal team. I guess Kazuha is nice. Here's hoping he's even more busted with Furina.
