I only recently found out about this and watched all of it. And I’m a 19 year old lol. Was definitely fun to watch. Definitely would have enjoyed to see more of Hercules however.
I agree. Especially since Thomas The Tank Engine was my very first obsessions in my life. I loved it and seeing this at the age 16 I wish that this was also part of my childhood. Although I know that my 4 year old self would be definitely scarred but still would enjoy it
I’m kinda sad this didn’t do as well as Thomas & Friends. I can see there was some really good potential here. And you can tell they worked really hard at it, too. Just two things could’ve been improved: there is so much smoke it makes one feel like the camera work is a 1940’s home movie quality. Second, the characters should be painted in bright colors like the trains in order to tell each tug character apart from the others. The voice actors are brilliant, but colors would make any confusion for the audience practically impossible.
If I was to be honest having looked at some behind the scenes footage this was on a technically more impressive level than Thomas the tank engine as if memory serves that series used string this used remote control
Good old tugs! I heard of it but now I Finally found it on TH-cam! Words can't describe how awesome this is and thanks for showing me the awesome show 👍🏽👏🏽
I remember this as a kid, and some of it gave me nightmares I think, the scenes where it's nighttime and foggy. Been meaning to find it for a while now and couldnt' find it on torrent sites. Good work.
What if Mattel rebooted this?Would it flop?Or will succeed and possibly save Nick Jr.?And i heard Shining Time Station are connected because in TATMR there was a reference to Bigg City. And don't forget the only forth wall joke in the series at 52:19 just as Capatin Star is saying about Billy Zorran What about me?
Young me had no idea what was going on in these stories, and honestly I still find parts of it confusing mostly for how fast the script moves. Still, it's got amazing production values, so I can see why I always enjoyed Tugs nonetheless!

what I meant was ‘models’
I only recently found out about this and watched all of it. And I’m a 19 year old lol. Was definitely fun to watch. Definitely would have enjoyed to see more of Hercules however.
Definitely would have enjoyed to see more of EVERYTHING!
@@joesniffin8829 I agree. Too bad they couldn’t continue.
I agree. Especially since Thomas The Tank Engine was my very first obsessions in my life. I loved it and seeing this at the age 16 I wish that this was also part of my childhood. Although I know that my 4 year old self would be definitely scarred but still would enjoy it
I would’ve loved it Hercules took Top Hat’s place in “Trapped”
2:56:59 Ten Cents and Sunshine didn't notice that Zeb was right behind them
I didn't notice him as well
Sneak:100
I’m kinda sad this didn’t do as well as Thomas & Friends. I can see there was some really good potential here. And you can tell they worked really hard at it, too. Just two things could’ve been improved: there is so much smoke it makes one feel like the camera work is a 1940’s home movie quality. Second, the characters should be painted in bright colors like the trains in order to tell each tug character apart from the others. The voice actors are brilliant, but colors would make any confusion for the audience practically impossible.
It’s no contest for which is the best sister show to Thomas and Friends; Tugs is literally the most relatable to it.
If I was to be honest having looked at some behind the scenes footage this was on a technically more impressive level than Thomas the tank engine as if memory serves that series used string this used remote control
1:57:21 symbolic of Thomas's reputation in the modern era.
Brings back memories of when you watched thomas the tank engine on tv when you were a toddler at your great grandmother s❤️
Good old tugs! I heard of it but now I Finally found it on TH-cam! Words can't describe how awesome this is and thanks for showing me the awesome show 👍🏽👏🏽
Al' Capone tugs mafia xd. Great special effect is burn and explodes docks and ship.
I remember watching this when I was very young. I just came across this now and it opened a ton of memories
Now I know where Victor tazing got the idea of their first episodes!
Indeed, The Stories of Sodor
I was obsessed with this as a kid.
I can almost feel my emotions from then. It's so weirdly nostalgic.
How much more impacting would this show be, if Thomas made one single appearance with some lines of dialogue?
Oh, the memories! Old shows like this are the best!
Bringing back so many memories
I remember this as a kid, and some of it gave me nightmares I think, the scenes where it's nighttime and foggy. Been meaning to find it for a while now and couldnt' find it on torrent sites. Good work.
Never in my life did I think I’d be sitting down watching a lost Thomas the Tank Engine spin-off but here I am
it was a sister show to thomas and it was also made by the same people
@@greendrift-vb6pm brother show, actually.
It’s kind of like Thomas & Friends, but with tugboats
I love TUGS.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Takes me well back, kids tv will never be the same
What if Mattel rebooted this?Would it flop?Or will succeed and possibly save Nick Jr.?And i heard Shining Time Station are connected because in TATMR there was a reference to Bigg City. And don't forget the only forth wall joke in the series at 52:19 just as Capatin Star is saying about Billy Zorran What about me?
Who else was searching Thomas & Friends and found this?
_Me in 2009_
not me
You had one job, youtube
It was in my recommended
Yes
2:29:36
Did not expect THAT 😂
Lmfaoooo underrated
Haha I laughed at that too
I see, didn’t expect TUGS to be the one to invent “ok boomer”
2:00:09 *”YOU GO BACK TO THE ICE AGE O.J. BY THE SOUND OF YOUR ENGINE”* ever since the early 90’s, that line has been stuck in my mind for many years.
I like how this was the nautical version of Thomas and Friends back in the day.
God, this takes me back to my childhood. Loved this show as a kid
59:21 Jack: "S'no garbage today"
But I gottoo ‘ave garbage!
No garbage today
this is my first time watching and i can see how much inspiration victor tanzing took from tugs
Young me had no idea what was going on in these stories, and honestly I still find parts of it confusing mostly for how fast the script moves. Still, it's got amazing production values, so I can see why I always enjoyed Tugs nonetheless!
I just barely remember seeing a couple of episodes of this show; I was watching a video on the Thomas the Tank Engine series and it brought me back.
This show is under rated this show should of had more than 1 season
It was going to but I think the episodes were gonna be more based Up River which would have been very difficult to film, You'll be able to find out more information about on Wikipedia
Who’s here after watching Steve’s Reviews?
Always found it funny that they dubbed in a sound effect for when Warrior takes a piece of shrapnel to the head in the Munitions episode 😂
@Gamergaming900 thanks for uploading this long chain of episodes, this is the best old classic program and their should definitely be another season
The soundtrack is the best thing about this show
when I was a kid I watched the show called "Thomas the train" the features look EXTREMELY similar to this filming!
Well, it's called "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends", or simply just "Thomas & Friends" actually, but yeah both shows had the same director
SUNSHINE?!?!?! WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!?!?!?
i first heard of this show from a video from Steve Reviews. and now my chance to see it for myself has come.
