You're such a rockstar in the gym. I get major gym anxiety being a young woman in a co-ed gym. When you were warming up and that man started working out on his mat RIGHT next to you, I would have gotten major, major anxiety and would have had to relocate. I know that makes me sound crazy. Fortunately, there's a women's only gym near me, and that takes away a lot of my anxiety. There's limited equipment here though, so one day I would like to graduate to a co-ed gym with more equipment :) Thanks for being my inspiration and showing me that nothing will happen if a man works out next to you! My brain just doesn't see it that way when I'm in that situation.
Lacey Anne I totally understand where you are coming from. I used to be the same but I just pushed myself to go to a mixed gym everyday and now I’m so much more used to it :)

Watching these ‘What I Eat In a Days’ reminds me not to stress about post workout protein / or strict post workout nutrition. Just eat good, whole, nutritious balanced foods and the nutrition/macros will sought themselves out! - Maddie’s body is lean and she looks healthy! Obviously, something shes doing works great! Even if she does have a protein shake a few hours after her workout! Thank you Maddie!!

next time you’re out of oats i highly recommend cooking quinoa or rice in almond milk & mashed banana, adding a scoop of protein powder & topping it with all the fruit/nuts/seeds you would an oat bowl!!! obviously oats can’t be beat but i’ve don’t it before when i’m out

It would be nice to see you both try vegan friendly African food, since you’re in Africa. For instance jollof rice and plantains. Normally when I travel, I like to try the food the as a part of my experience.
I did the same thing to the same two toes a few months ago. I had a huge bruse for at least a week or two and it hurt for about a week. Hope ur foot feels better soon!

I hateee stirring nut butter I usually use a butter knife but I saw a contraption once called a peanut butter mixer it has a crank on the top and paddle inside that moves to mix it up.
It's pretty much all the same stuff! We do make more than one trip to the shops per week though. Just different produce since we're here in South Africa!

If you flip your nut butters upside down before you open them, for a day, the oils go back to the bottom and it’s much easier to stir!!

When I workout at home, I usually do no equipment workouts, or just use resistance bands like on my youtube channel MadFit :)

Sheila Akavan non stick pans and a bit of water! We would usually use better quality non stick pans, but we just use what we have whilst travelling

how do you stir your nut butter? lol i always end up with a solid chunk on the bottom!
You really gotta get all the way to the bottom!! That's why I like using a fork because it helps to break it up a bit!
You should leave the pot upside down for at least a day before stirring it and it’ll be a lot easier!!
