Very good video. I agree with you; better to play relatively simple pieces well than to learn a more difficult piece with 'fracture points' in it because your current level of technique doesn't match the technical requirements of a piece.
Don’t repeatedly read the same sheets, know when to move on to a different sheet, section or practice of piano, whatever you done wrong is what you focused on in piano until you get it right but don’t read the whole thing over and over unless you are more focused on the flow of playing the piano instead of the failures
I've been trying to push myself from 0-100😂. It kinda drove me crazy, I wasn't really learning and it made me lose interest. I thought I wasn't practicing enough. I'm taking it slow now, paying more attention to playing scales. Thank you for this video.

@amerebondservanthey I think when I started it was 1-2 hours a day but I was very consistent with it. Learning all scales and arpeggios as a beginner is quite an undertaking, so take it slowly and stick to a few scales and their arpeggios. As you get better you can learn and discover more scales and arpeggios with more sharps or flats. No rush. Feeling 'good' at them Is a lifelong endeavour. I am quite good at them but there's always small Improvements being made. So just try to Improve them beyond what you've been able to do and don't worry about anyone else.

I worked part-time in the afternoon- evenings mon-fri. I practice in the mornings-afternoon before work.
