I've been trying to figure out how to do this. I carved a homesteader, made a house, gave him a table, chair, heat source, water tower, fishing line, & gold mining equipment but could NOT figure out his outhouse! Lol this is perfect, I can't wait to get to work. Great work!! 👍🏽

Minor detail: In North America before toilet paper was invented it was common to find a catalig from someone like Sears and Robucks hanging in the privy, or three corn cobs. Either detail usually draws a laugh.

I know it's been a while since you did this project, but I just wondered how long did it actually take you to do? And just one other thing that I thought I'd mention, you kinda forgot to cut a crescent shape in the door 🚪. I don't know why, but a lot of outhouses had one. But I gotta say that yours is pretty cool! Thank you! 🙃
For ventilation and to let light it but not let others peep in. Legend has it that back when most were still illiterate for public outhouses they put a moon for the ladie's outhouses and a star or sun for the men's. But the men's didn't last as long as the women's so they just started having unisex ones with a moon. It makes sense that back then there were far less women using public outhouses. I assume the reason they became unisex is because when a person has to go, they have to go and will use what is available.
