Great that Ira is still on the show. The HOA calls are always sublime, but the way you sell it from the first second, it really conveys how you're an overworked, underpaid disinterested intern, just trying to inform people of their obligations, trying to get through the list, becoming exhausted at having to answer the same questions to every resident.
The thing is, if you were legitimately trying to inform them of a new garbage collection schedule, you'd likely get the same range of reactions.

The absolute funniest thing about APCS is that King Richard couldn't ever pull off a voice changer prank whereas, for some reason, Brad would be able to land them 100% of the time despite him being unbelievable and putting in zero effort.
The next funniest thing about APCS is the absolute razor sharp wit that King Richard has. You can tell homeboy was a high achiever in school.
The third funniest thing is that King Richard, despite being unable to get the voice changer to work, he can manage to convince people that they're going to phase out of time or that microwaves are turning the walls transparent and other completely ridiculous and utterly implausible 1960s sci-fi B movie plot nonsense.
There's no other prank caller like King Richard and imo there's none on the same level as him. He's a one of a kind.

I used to be at a loss to understand how anyone could fall for "tacheon beams causing time dilation around your house, so just set your clocks half an hour fast and all should be good" stories but then that thing was put on the news in twenty 20 and that put paid to any notions that people were capable of critical thinking.
The leader of the Free world is a man who can eat ice cream without getting a brain freeze. Nothing surprises me anymore.
From the ashes he arises from his slumber or from the floor he has risen.
Seeing another Another Prank Call Show show... the future just got that much brighter I now gotta wear shades! And because of these shades I now have to wear thanks to you, I couldn't see the yellow divider while descending a steep road with my bike, and I ended up clipping the darn thing. Quite unfortunately for me the divider had VERY deep grooves, so that cars know when they are veering out of lane, giving me no choice but to crash my bike. I tried to turn out of it, but the front wheel had no traction, so instead the bike collapsed (at 25mph) on the left side. And most unfortunately the shades I had to wear, all because of your 100th episode, were frameless, meaning when I hit the ground, the sunglasses turned into a scalpel and made a giant gash below and above my eye, all the way to the bone below, right on the left side where I hit the pavement.
30 stitches later and I am finally back home, but the doctors have recommended I talk to you about covering the medical expenses, or at the very least replacing the shades. I also have terrible road rash everywhere, the worst I've ever experienced, yet the sole reason I had to go to the ER was entirely due to this sudden return of APCS. Thanks a lot, King Richard!
edit: Just fyi, the shades were the pro team Raphas with the black mirror lens.

I would bet that your microphone sounds even better than the Shure SM7B that so many Podcasters and TH-camrs are using these days.
The SM7B is a great mic, but my voice is too soft for it. I'd have to get a Cloudlifter, and needing an accessory for an already expensive mic seemed ridiculous.
Although I'm still amazed that they get hooked so quickly on these bizarre premises, I keep having to remind myself that all these people latched on to that blatant obvious nonsense in twenty twenty and still won't let go of it, even though the perpetrators have told them it was just a prank bro, more or less.
