The MV is great, why tell people to skip it, that’s not helping them, telling people not to give them views on their offical MVs, please do both, this supports them and you will appreciate the live even more
At first I wasn't crazy about Shooting Star as well but when you listen to it a few more times you start appreciating the transitions more. Usally if a song has rapping and singing, the song like stops to accommodate the rapping or singing that feels forced because it doesn't match with the beat or the lyrics of the rest of the song. But here even with several flow switches and it going from rapping to singing numerous times the song structurally stays the same. It just starts with rapping and more of hip hop beat and with a nice bridge ends with singing on a more pop beat. Something you hardly ever see in American music today. Also no autotune in the song which is like to hard to believe if you don't know that Jurin and Harvey actually sound that way when they rap. They also have a rock version of this song that they perform on their current world tour.
If you watch the Producers Session video for Shooting Star (in ATL), the hook was more trapt IMO. I guess they made it more pop/R&B. In an alternate universe, Shooting Star is a trapt song, lol. But I still love it the way it is :)
