I can't find a tutorial on how to make a painting task anywhere and it's infuriating. I can paint just fine, but when I go to test, the walls don't highlight where the paint is supposed to go.

Hi! Are you in the "Surface Quest" mode when you are trying to do it? When you're in that mode them you can put whatever surface you want in, and it should show up properly when you go to test!
