I dont think people realize how much more skill Zangief takes to play. He is a very difficult character to play at high levels. I am just glad they made Zangief decent in SF 6. It was sad to see Snake Eyez playing Evil Ryu in SF 5.
It’s insane the difference in skill between low levels and high levels. At low levels zangeif seems broken because of his sheer damage output, at high levels it takes insane skill to even land his high damage.
Opposite actually, Zangief is a scrub character, no skill to confirm command grabs half life is gone. That's it.

Zangief looks like the only real character they put in the effort into in this game.
I’ve been maining Zangief since I got the game and he’s easy for me to play with and still get a lot of wins. It makes me feel good at the game hearing about how much skill it takes to play him
I have never seen that 2 medium chops into EX SPD, that was so cool 13:17
It's not a combo, he just baited the other player into thinking the 3rd chop would happen and not the ex spd. I believe the term is "tick throws" where you play mind games with your opponent to not have them expect a throw and throw them or have them expect a throw and punish them for expecting it.
I fought snake eyez and he was insane. Acknowledged

The concept is that you try to punish it but you react too late, so your button gets clipped by the invincible move.
I don't get how this is even remotely impressive. I see the same gameplay in gold. What a trash character.
Because its a gief defeating the best characters in the game. What so impressive of a rashid walking with a wall of a hitbox?
@DanielHernandez-ft7xt I wouldn't know, I don't face many Rashid players nor do I play him. I just don't see how this is impressive as it's just that same things all the time.

Indeed, but also watching sf6 gameplay on yt or through replays from high-level players, they all play the same either way.
Everything isn't combos it's micro discussion making things like whiff punishing baits spacing hit confirms checking fake pressure anti airs reactionary supers meter management attacking drive gauge in crucial moments that's the next level stuff it's what separates the good from the great
