It's easier to have shipping changed to another Canadian address than a US one for me. I think you are correct on the price, Base dragon is likely 500 and then the extras 100. I'm saving for at least 700USD just to be safe. I'm hoping the stone base they made will be an add-on or unlock, it seems like an thing that they could have manufactured without much added cost. Really good predictions. With you on the price predictions, not being based in the US, I do fear for the shipping costs. Also not based in the US I wish 4H worked with a vendor that offered payment plans for non-US based customers. Figure prediction, I think you will be right, and would love a Raygorr version 2. Thinking outside the Mythoss lore and to classical lore and those that just want an awesome dragon, a knight should be included, maybe a variant on the Valiant Knight, or the Silver Knight version 2.
If there isn't a saddle option, they've seemingly allowed for one to fit regardless. It looks like the spines along the back are more flush with the body around the "shoulders" of the forelegs, which would be prime saddle real estate.
I think the diorama base would be fantastic. Either the rock or the massive floor with walls and pillers destroyed and scortch marks for the fire. I don't know if they would offer another color this early. Eric appeared adamant that this was his Dragon and he wanted it Green. I think other colors with different heads and necks would make sense.
I think some great accessories for the dragon would be a good sturdy flight stand for one and then something simple like maybe a clutch of eggs. 2 very dragon like accessories.
I think if they did multiple forms of draconic creatures with it that could be dope, a small clutch of eggs like many people have suggested, a dog sized wyrmling, a horse sized drake mount and a troll scale wyvern also potentially ridable, just picture a dragon man army with wyvern steeds and a true dragon god behind them
Great video Bill! I am definitely rooting for the diorama. I think this is a missed opportunity with most companies. I also loved the idea for a color variant for the dragon!! Count me in for two if they offer the big guy in two colors. I think they need to get creative because at a $500+ price tag and expensive shipping costs, there won’t be much ability for collectors to profit from flipping, which usually drives multiple purchases.
Yeah in today's toy world it'll be hard to convince resellers to get in on this. Which means if it does fund, it could be super rare and expensive on the aftermarket. Hmmm, I might need to get an extra to sell.
Great thoughts, Bill! Had similar thinking on the base, figs and price. Love the idea of the book, but imagine they may just expand on the short documentary.
I hope this means they'll be doing more non-humanoid monsters in the future. I kind of want a manticore and a giant worm and maybe a Sphinx. If they were going to add another figure with it, other than the charred skeletons, they might do kobolds. Basically a smaller version of the reptile guys that we have. Maybe they could sell them outside the dragon as well. If they're going to Make different colored dragons, I would rather it be a different mold altogether. Especially for the head. Different dragon colors have distinct horns. They do need a level up their special effect pieces.
They already said that if this dragon is a success, they would keep going with the Five Pillars, which would be very different types of dragons. Like I said, if they do a variant here, I think it would be a different look for the same character Beyithirr.

about the fixed-price shipping for the U.S. you predict, I think they really should look into dropshipping straight from China for the rest of the world. That would save tons on shipping for customers outside of the U.S.

I think $500 is a bit too much, I understand the sheer size and intricate sculpt of the dragon but if 4H is hoping to make a bunch of sales I think that price point or above will turn a large majority of potential buyers away. Especially since we won’t know when the dragon will actually release if it hits the set goal. These all seem like reasonable predictions to me. I have no real vested interest in what happens either way, other than it seems like an overwhelming majority of Legions (and non legions) fans are very excited for him, which is cool. It will also cease the "where is the dragon?"/"year of the dragon" commentary! :) along those similar lines, while I think it makes sense that they would make a specific figure(s) for this dragon, I hope they can figure out a way to make it interesting for those getting him but not so much that the cabal will whine because they cant get it just because they cant afford the dragon. I realize thats how the world works, people that can afford more will be able to get more things, but it seems like everyone feels like they are entitled to have the exact same access. The only reason the exclusive exists is because of the dragon so if you dont get the dragon you shouldn't complain about it! I suppose then my prediction would be that it might be something similar to a Con exclusive where there is some unique aspects to the figure but they will eventually release a pared down version later on.
That's a very good prediction. I think you are right, if they do an unique character, they'll probably have a second way for non-backers to get a version. But if it's just a generic black skeleton, I could see them letting it be a true exclusive since people can get other versions (similar to Valiant Knight and Skeleton 2).
Bill, I definitely prefer the green dragon as the first color scheme. If there is a variant and Eric feels like it it could be explained as a younger or ancient version of Beyithirr. Dragons live an incredible amount of years and a motling or a change in age could be worked into the lore. Great food for thought Bill🙌✌️

I don’t think a color variant of the dragon is a good idea. Then people would be complaining about having to choose between two dragons. A better idea, IMO, would be offering a Grey Scale “Artist Proof” version, kind of like those Test Shots. That way it’s not like a situation where they have to make a new dragon for the lore or change things so it makes sense, and it gives fans the opportunity to paint their own if they want it in a different color. Plus, Since the factory doesn’t have to paint it, they could possibly offer it at a lower price point, too.
Yeah Trevor mentioned the test shot idea above, that could happen. Though I will say that it wouldn't necessarily be them changing the lore if it's been planned from the start, it could be that they have simply withheld that lore from us thus far.
5 => BOOK : A whole book about 1 large figure seems a bit stupid in todays toymarket no? 4 => BASE : Sure, make the whole experience MORE expensive by including a block of plastic! 3 => FIGURES : Maybe, BUT only if they separate them out of the price of the dragon being produced or not. A baby dragon? A dragon rider with harness? 2 => PRICE : If the ALL-IN is more then 500 USD I'm ALL-OUT! BECAUSE SHIPPING TO EUROPE WILL BE VIOLENTLY EXPENSIVE!!! 1 => VARIANT : I hope not because buying 2 dragons would be the end for some collectors of this line who just started with Mythic Legions now that it is more readily available and known? Not every figure in Mythic Legions NEEDS to be on constant repeat or version 2.0 / 3.0... 0 => My thought : This dragon could be our toy generations NECA BALROG!

Can't it be both? Include one of each with the dragon and also give the option to purchase more? I definitely want some burnt corpse figures! Maybe something that could look like flaming zombies?
@@lonedragon3261 Theoretically anything is possible.
If its $500 its either the dragon or a new ebike ..what would you do ?
Assuming I want both equally and neither is especially important to my well-being: the dragon will only be available for a short window. Ebikes will continue to be available and likely continue to improve technologically, so personally I would get the dragon and then start saving for the bike. But I set a goal that I'm not buying the dragon unless I can sell off enough of the collection I already have to both earn enough money and clear enough space for the dragon.
Thats logical ..and i know the dragon will be rare ,but if its sucessful i feel we would see it in some form again ,the horsemen are notorious for reusing molds . But ,its a matter of nessessity ,i need the bike more than the toy . I still have time to consider ,and perhaps i start a new job soon that will make it possible to do both .
$500 sounds about right. But who knows it could be more or they could surprise us with a cost less than $500. Anyone here not aware of the transformers third party M-01 Steel Fortress. Look that up for size and price and you’ll be happy with the $500 dragon lol
I hope there’s a saddle
The 3D guys will have you covered.
Soon all will be REVEAED
@@hedgehogaction I'm ready!
Just so no to Dragon saddle!
make the dragon red and i’m in. not into green
It's Eric's Dragon and he wants it to be Green. One of benefits of being the creator is his vision gets made 1st.
@@HGHofmann good for eric. i’ll wait for red lol
I feel the same way. That's why I haven't purchased any of the Dragosyr figures like Aracagorr and Sskur'ge, the baby blue and bright green color choices don't appeal to me. I'd buy any red dragon in a heartbeat.
@@badvermin you’d think they’d start with the most common and iconic color for a big ass western dragon…but here we are
@@CYeoung I'm also annoyed they haven't done a Draego-Man inspired figure yet. It's clear the Dragosyr design was based on him the whole time, to not make the figure is baffling to me.
Payment plans would help....
Four Horsemen's web store already has a payment plan option.
@@DorkLair I'm just saying like with this dragon. We really don't know how they're gonna do it and I don't think kickstarter has a payment plan and let's say it reaches its goal.. Instead of taking almost a month to get fun it reaches it's goal in two days lol. I think that's where I will be hesitant to back it up.Where there's a pre-order and there's a payment plan that can help.I don't mind dropping a hundred first payment. All I gotta say is.I'm very excited for this dragon and thank you for Making this video and it's always a pleasure watching ur channel🙏🏼
@@francismendez9406 We do know that they will be using their own website which does offer installment plans.
@@DorkLairAlthough,if memory serves me right, the payment plan is only good to orders placed within the U.S.
There’s a payment plan and we know how it works my man - it’s a pay in 4 structure, first payment due about 2 weeks after committal if IIRC!
I think 500 is fair. Maybe some dragon whelps as a tier? And dragon scale armor to use with the new knight
A small pile of burnt bones.
I'm down with that!
5. The Haslab book isn't some big hardcover. Just a short book documenting the process.
4. The base would be an add on item, so people who don't want to pay for it can just skip it.
3. They already said that the Dragons in their world don't have riders, so don't hold your breath on that one.
2. Shipping to Europe will indeed be brutal. This campaign will live and die by U.S. sales, which unfortunately means international customers won't have many great options here, as the goal will be to get it funded without financially harming the company.
1. You wouldn't be forced to buy two, so this is a non-issue.
@@DorkLair i am from europe too and i am very interesting in buying this massive dragon. How much do you think will be the cost for international shipping?
@@giuseppelagattolla38 I have no clue. But you could go to USPS or FedEx and enter a New Jersey address to get a shipping estimate. The box will probably be close to 50lb and large maybe 30in x 30in x 20in.
