Elvis won my Dad's approval when he really started listening to him and realised how much he loved his family! My Dad had a Blues/Country band so he appreciated Elvis' music, but never our screaming! Saw Elvis at Tupelo fair when I was 13!!!! Nearly fainted!!!!💙💙💙

James Brown, BB King, all the older guys loved Elvis, their music found a breakthrough with mainstream audiences because Elvis opened the doors of a different sound. Older black artist's shared a special bond with Elvis and all were mostly Southerner's, a common bond West coast artist's didn't share. It was a perfect combination coming together and produced music that will live forever.

He looked 100% male yet was beautiful due to having features that are normally associated with female beauty...
