Elvis truly loved his fans. He made sure every piece of fanmail was responded to. He never refused an autograph. They would continuously go to the gates of his home just to try to get a glimpse of him and he would regularly go to talk to them and spend some time with them. That's just ONE of the things that made him the *King*.
Thanks so much for the video!!! 💙💙💙

The best there ever was!!! So glad I was there to see him at the beginning! A screaming preteen! My Dad used to threaten to turn off TV when he came on if my sisters and I did not stop screaming! Elvis won my Dad's approval when he really started listening to him and realised how much he loved his family! My Dad had a Blues/Country band so he appreciated Elvis' music, but never our screaming! Saw Elvis at Tupelo fair when I was 13!!!! Nearly fainted!!!!💙💙💙

Underated song. Just a magical guy, charisma. Find on you tube "Elvis jamming, Don't Be Cruel". It's a behind the scenes, him with friends talking about a black group, maybe Jackie Wilson's group that he loved. He drew inspiration from many black artist's in the 50s. James Brown, BB King, all the older guys loved Elvis, their music found a breakthrough with mainstream audiences because Elvis opened the doors of a different sound. Older black artist's shared a special bond with Elvis and all were mostly Southerner's, a common bond West coast artist's didn't share. It was a perfect combination coming together and produced music that will live forever.

Elvis was always good to his fans, not only to fans to everyone! I heard one time he was talking to the custodian of a building. He told him he would be there after he got done talking to the man! He would yes sir and no sir to anyone no matter what age they were! Elvis once buying a caddy and he saw her watching him from the showroom window. He went outside to ask why she was waiting for the bus at 2:00 in the morning, she replied that she was waiting for the bus. Elvis then ask if she liked the color of his caddy, she told him it was pretty, then he said I'm glad u like the color and hands her the keys to a new caddy. That's kind of person he was. Can u cover Elvis song Hurt, he was sickly and heavy but he belted that song out!

This is the best of the new songs tried out on Presley to mature his image, heading fearlessly into the turn of a new decade, also challenging & showcasing his often underrated range... Btw: it's been said it's Lisa Marie's fave of her dad's... the studio version should've been a big single & Top Ten in 1970, RCA dropping the ball big-time... A good hybrid song of gospel, pop, ballad, interpreted beautifully by Presley's distinguished vocal tones & abilities...
Has recently been turned into a superb duet on the last Philharmonic release... sounding very contemporary, much like how he would record today

Among Elvis' secular songs, this is my second favorite ...
Man, what a beautiful reaction you made, I was delighted with the way you feel the music (whether it's Elvis or other great stars), well done.
Elvis was undoubtedly a very humble guy in dealing with fans; since I met him, when I was 5 years old, today I'm 30 (that is, 25 years of love and affection for music and by artist Elvis) I studied a lot about him and his life, I read books of pros and cons, but honestly , I believe in the pros and everything that has been demonstrated about him, that he was a good Christian despite mistakes and correctness in life.
    Hugs from Brazil.

@@fabiodesouza7228 Same here, I met and learned so much about Elvis again because of all the videos on TH-cam. I first heard and saw him on tv when I was in 6th Grade and back then we don't know much about him only about his songs and movies. I admired him more than ever upon learning what a wonderful human being he was by the way he treated people well, most esp his being a humble and generous person. Incomparable to any celebrity before and after him.

Whitney Houston's mother was one of Elvis' backup singers. There's another great version of this song sung by Elvis and Helene Fischer. Also, there's a really good version sung by Chris Connor (closeup picture video), an Elvis Tribute Artist who looks kinda like Elvis and sounds a whole lot like him too. He gets the screams from the women in the audience like Elvis did. I like your reaction 👍🏻❤️‼️

First of all I am a woman using a friends log in
Some people are going to say I'm crazy but here goes....
Back when he was at the height of popularity women wanted
him and men wanted to be like him
A lot of men disliked him and many think it was because they
were jealous of how their women felt about him
I believe many men hated him because he made them uncomfortable
They were uncomfortable because although they were heterosexual they were
in some way attracted to him.
He looked 100% male yet was beautiful due to having features that are
normally associated with female beauty... Full lips, high pronounced cheek
bones, long eyelashes and great hair and skin
Many men who are comfortable with their sexuality have laughingly said
after watching him they think they just turned gay
Many have said he was the best looking human being to walk the planet
    male or female
Nothing wrong with admiring the looks of someone of the same sex
but I think for the time men didn't really know what to do about those
    feelings and feared it
He had a beauty and sexiness that appealed to both although he may not
have felt comfortable knowing that either
He was a work of art
