Does anyone know if Serica 5303 no longer has movement issues which were covered by many TH-camrs before? I just heard that two of three of these guys have one in their collection and I wonder whether it is because they just don’t care of those issues and can live with them (or were lucky to get a unit without these issues with the movement) OR they have bought this model relatively recently after a movement update or something…? Thanks in advance for the help. 🙏
The movement has been updated with a COSC certified M100 movement. I have the 6190 with that movement and can attest that there are no issues and very accurate as well. A plus for the 5303 is added anti magnetism. If you want more reassurance, there are plenty of blog/ reddit posts on recent Serica releases.
Has to be an automatic watch? Funny, I'd pick a Citizen Promaster Tough with an Eco-drive movement and a monocoque case. That sucker will, with a bit of luck and keeping it charged, run uninterrupted for 35 years, so you die before your watch does, in all likelihood. And it's 200m water resistant, flat, diminuitive, and there is nothing on there that can break. That said, I do love a Serica, Breitling, etc. :)
I think you all mean on a “deserted” island, not desert. So a deserted island can be tropical or not. Personally I prefer being on a desserted island, where I always have dessert 🧁!
I’m wearing my Pelagos 39. Rugged and light. But when the rescue party arrives I’ll switch to my Batman - Rolex will sign me up as an endorser when I describe how the Batman survived wild animal attacks and helped me stay alive. They’ll shower me with free watches.
Great episode. Love the chilled island vibes 🏝️
Great shoes, great watches 👏
Piña Colada island watch- Tissot Sideral.
Castaway island watch- Citizen Skyhawk in Eco-drive & titanium.
Love that macho Breitling. Glorious BREITLING!

''I'm not a rubber guy'' :D

Did you guys shoot this one right after the previous one? Nacho just took off his shirt, Dan put one on and Morgan is wearing the same thing 😂
Guilty as charged :)
This month has been tricky in terms of scheduling, so we've done two double recording sessions.
@@nachocondegarzon All good, no criticisms here at all. Love the costume change effort though! Morgan could've done better 😁
@@scene.objects Just enough effort to fool all but those especially eagle-eyed :)
Thanks for listening!
My tropical/desert island watch is Certina DS Super PH1000m - outsanding design.
G shock, of course
I’m a chronograph freak but since a desert island environment would wreck my Minerva, I’d have to take my Blue Pelagos FXD
Stupid question but why would I need a watch on a desert island??? 🤔
Nice to watch a clip that has some sole.
It’s running through my mind and jogging through my heart

Ploprof or FXD
No Citizen Promaster Diver (EcoDrive)?
Mine would have to be my Fugu (full lume dial) 👌🏼
@@ahmada5207 Also an excellent choice!
