The layered plastic looks very weird, but it looks like storm made it work. I also agree with you that Demitri would benefit from a cloth cape. I'd low key really love for a Donovan figure to be made.
Wow bro! Great review! I'm surprised at how short you made this vid it's freaking darkstalkers Demitri Maximoff!!!! I hope we get more of darkstalker's characters like Morrigan, Felicia, Victor, Jon Talbain, Hsien ko, Jedah, Lord Raptor, anakaris, sasquatch and pyron!
Being massive darkstalkers fan I wouldn’t say it fits the games style 100% but it definitely does with some characters if they do them further down the line like victor or Sasquatch
The problem I have with this fig is that it doesn't have alt batwings. 2 of his most iconic looks are when he does his spinning batwing uppercut and when he blocks attacks by cocooning himself in his wings.

I’d rather of had maybe a clip on shell like the subzero ice one that lets you put a character inside, have it shaped in that classic blocking pose and just clip it around him. I also would of gave a different head, a more demon one with huge fangs like when he does his supers

D-Amazing back at it with another Storm review ! They make the best stuff. And they just announced an Akira Yuki figure during a Virtua Fighter presentation.
Storm did such a fine job with this one. It's even better than I expected. And I'm so glad they gave Demitri the respect he deserved and released him before any other Darkstalker. HE's the main character. Not Morrigan, not Felicia or anybody that newbs have only seen in Marvel vs. Capcom.

I would actually collect this Entire line and i mostly just like everyone. I want them to do more steet fighter. A Nice "Kage" and Oni would be my dream come through!
I want all the darkstalkers but the mummy anakaris is a must for marvel vs capcom2 teams and I love Bishamon and jon tailbane and Victor as Zangeif size would be sick
Amazing release; very natural and flexible posing and great accesories. I hope it sells well because Darkstalkers is pretty niche. IMO female characters is Storm Collectibles' weakest point so I don't know what to expect from Morrigan; even Nakoruru which is a 2021 release I'm not too happy with the prototype pictures.
I'm still salty that the SOTA Darkstalkers line got canceled. The prototypes looked really good. The figure is bigger than my SOTA Street Righters, but if Storm made more Darkstalkers they would all be in scale with each other. I have no plans at the moment to buy this figure but when I see how the other characters turn out I know I will be super tempted to throw down some money. I will consider getting this figure, but by the time I do it will be tons of money on the resale market... :(
