Having graduated high school in 1969, I can seriously relate to the characters of That 70's Show. Quite a few episodes were like watching a playback of situations my circle of friends & myself found ourselves in. Especially those famous round table scenes when everyone was getting high and solving all the mysteries of the universe. Good times.
I was so sheltered that when originally watching the show as a teen I had no idea they were high. When watching replays years later I was like "omg I'm an idiot"

My family and I immigrated to the USA in 2001. Just like Mila's family, we came here because my parents knew my brother and I had no future back in Ukraine. I'm so grateful my parents made that decision (our hometown is Mariupol, I guess I don't need to explain). A month after arrival here, my brother and I got first jobs ... at Wal-Mart. We didn't even speak English at the time. I worked at the ladies' department, and my brother worked as a truck unloader. It was hard. At Wal-Mart I met Gary, who worked at the one-hour photo (remember those times when films were developed and pictures printed?). We started dating. This was Gary's favorite show, I remember him watching it all the time. I, on the other hand, didn't understand a thing. Now that I think of it how on Earth did Gary and I understand each other that first year? I have no idea! I guess it was love, and with love you understand each other without words... Time passed, I learned English, went to a community college, then transferred to a UC. Gary got a better job and moved away too. Our paths separated. The point I'm trying to make is that everyone has their own path in life, and everyone has their struggles, challenges, and tragedies. Back then to me, a poor immigrant girl who spoke broken English and was earning minimum wage at Walmart, these actors and actresses seemed so successful and achieved. I thought each and every one of them had an amazing life, something that was out of reach for me. Now two decades later, years of hard work, struggles and challenges, I wouldn't wish for any other path in life other than my own! Don't wish for other people' lives or success (you might have no idea what you are wishing for), instead follow your own path and work through your own struggles! God bless you all!

Because the cast members appeared ditzy to me with underlying personal problems. Feeling their collective spastic dark energy distracted me.

That wasn't a smile, that was a failed effort to appear offended by the reporter asking the question in the first place. She had the facial expression of someone who was above physically abusing her roommate. I believe she was guilty as sin, but her acting kicked on in that clip and she tried to give a good performance. She was a hot drugged out mess. I never watched that 70s show. Because the cast members appeared ditzy to me with underlying personal problems. Feeling their collective spastic dark energy distracted me.

A reboot for this show just wouldn’t work. Two of the actresses passed away. One actor arrested in sexual assault. While I do see most of the remaining cast signing on to a continuation it wouldn’t be good.
