One question came to my mind: are people with aspects of npd prone to limerance? The mentioned traits of fantasy as a coping mechanism and the grandiosity check some boxes as well as the distorted object relations. I'm referring here especially to the work of Prof. Sam Vaknin and his descriptions of the snapshot-mechanism of npds (dunno if is all his own original thoughts though, I just learned it from his videos) which sounds very similar to what you described with limerance. Keep up the good work and I hope your videos get the exposure they deserve.
