- #TheBoringCompany creates safe, fast-to-dig, and low-cost transportation, utility, and freight tunnels. The mission: solve traffic, enable rapid point-to-point transportation and transform cities.
Gigafactory Texas is an automotive manufacturing facility in Austin, TX., built by Tesla, Inc. A 2,500 acre facility along the Colorado River that produces the Model Y and Cybertruck EVs.
#TeslaRailyard is located at RCR Taylor Logistics Park, which transports newly built vehicles from Tesla Gigafactory Texas, to all points N/S/E/W.
Good video. You are the only drone pilot who flies over the Tyler rail head. I enjoy watching the loading of vehicles.
Thanks! Taylor is closer to where I live, so I've been making it my first or last stop lately.😉
Plus I love watching trains!

The rail yard is the RCR Talylor Logistics Paek. It is located wholly in the city limits of Taylor. The Taylor/Hutto city line runs long the Eastern road. The water tower is in Taylor although it serves Hutto, after Taylor annexed the land..
good Job, love your style.
Thank you! 🤩
I like that you went really far towards the rail yard side, you usually don't see that.
It's a fascinating area to watch when it's busy! 🚅
Really awesome footage. I drive past the Hutto railyard often, so seeing what it looks like from above is pretty cool. You can only see so much when driving by on highway 79.
I hear ya.. Thanks! 🙂
FANTASTIC VIDEO, thanks you, from Spain
Thank you as well 🙂🚗
Turn of the mic om Your divice, the trafik is inoing
Points of interest. I note that there have been several CyberTrucks at the crash test installation lately. I am assuming these are to test the latest versions of the 4680 cells.
The big new tents at the railyard are supposed to be for End of Line work, (as per Joe Tegtmeyer) this is in addition to the new EoL building at Giga Austin. To me, this suggests either an expected increase in production rates, or to provide better Initial Quality.
Yes perhaps ;-)
I noticed they added a 4th since I was last there. I think that new 2-story building on the far right side of the track is going to be entirely leased by Tesla? With plans for even more expansion in the general vicinity.
Might get crowded before too long because Samsung has major expansion plans in the area too. And their current factory (in the background) is not yet complete. Kind of seems like a non-stop work in progress like GigaTexas.
They consistently crash test the CT and all other models. They would be more interested in the long-term charge and range characteristics of the new 4680 battery in real-world use. They could test the safety of the new batteries in the battery cell test facility.
What in the world could they do in those tents that they couldn't do @ the factory? They're going to take train rides 1/2 way across the country in autoracks with meshed or slatted sides and need to be cleaned again @ the service centers before delivery.
Joe is 50%-50% at best. We'll just have to wait and see.
@@shazam6274 Elon wouldn't allow it. He's all about efficiency and streamlining processes. It basically says there is either a major flaw in the CT manufacturing or the people @ the EOL facility aren't doing their jobs if they need to do further EOL processing @ the railyard.
@@AirwaveDynamics It's not clear if it's the building or the extra land between the Tesla lot and the building. The news story said 180,000 sq feet and I think the building is listed as being double that size. It could've been that a picture of the building was better for the story than showing an empty field with weeds growing on it.
F-150 tuff enough to pull a really really really long extension cord
