love your narration - many vloggers don't say enough.... you're pretty much spot on with all that you say... I've lived here all of my life (54 years), and your video is one of the better ones I've seen... it makes me happy when visitors enjoy themselves.... I like too that you're open-minded and respectful....
Nikos Pier 38, they are located next to the fish auction, fresh right out of the ocean, they have a poke spot there, indoor restaurant overlooking the Harbor. Leeward Drive inn in Waipahu awesome place to eat, lots of local foods. Highway inn 2 locations Waipahu and Downtown best Hawaiian food. Tamura's supermarket, they have a lot of varieties of poke bowls. Thelmas good filipino foods. Just to name a few.
Next time you go to hawaii try off the hook poke or ahi assassins also try papaoles for the short ribs katsu midori for some good sushi or tonkatsu tamafuji.
I’m from Oahu and people who visit NEED to drive H3 from south (Aiea city) to north (Kaneohe city). It’s a beautiful drive. Mountains and ocean view! Also, Famous Shrimp truck from Kahuku is waaaay better than Giovanni’s shrimp truck!
My newly fiance and I just got back from Oahu yesterday and watching this is making me have withdraw. We got there on the 6th and he proposed to me on the 7th on beach. One of the best trips I ever taken, if not the best. Can't wait to go back and try these places.
Food looks sooo goooddddd. Oahu is definitely on my bucketlist. also, did not know that lilykoi is passionfruit. Super interesting! You looked like you had so much fun too!
What a beautiful video!! This is the first time I've seen your videos. Great shots of the island. I've been living in Hawaii for the past 44 years, and I learned a lot watching this video. I swear, I gotta get out more, lol. The food place's were great! I've tried a few of the restaurants, but I need to check out, Sweet E's restaurant! The portions look like my kind of thing! Well, thanks so much for the video! Hope you guys come back to Hawaii soon. Mele Kalikimaka!!!
Kenny Elliott thank you so much! sweet e’s was delicious, definitely worth a visit ☺️ there’s so much left of the islAnd we want to explore, i look forward to coming back some day!
Lifetime Hawaii resident: As a kid, I couldn't eat plain poi....always with sugar. The difference is like coffee w/o or with sugar. Fast forward to maybe a couple of years ago....someone said you gotta dump your lomi salmon in da poi....sure enough (must be the sweetness of the tomatoes or something)….was ono...no need sugar.
Hey guys! Next time you're in Hawaii could you team up for a collab with Poopies from 'the poopies channel' ? He's got the best vlog coming out of Hawaii atm!
@@happychefx My prediction is once Poopies ups his game with more regular uploads and a bit of help with his production he'll over take JOB. JOB vlog is good but he's got heaps of money so wishing Poopies some success.

This island has some of the BEST breakfast spots in the world. Also, Aiea Bowl has some of the best desserts!
i love Fresh Catch! they have good smoked meats... can't go wrong with Tanioka's or Tamashiro Market for poke and other local food...
