Somehow I came across this video today. I thought Jonghyun didn't have a youtube channel so this was a pleasant surprise. A friend of mine just lost her sister to ALS few days ago. I really feel his genuine compassion & his heart to truly want to help this cause in this video. When he does something he goes all in, doesn't he? Most people do it with real buckets. Those are more like tubs, at least 5 times bigger than bucket. Anyway, well done and thank you! 수고했어요💕

I'm really happy that these two did the Ice Bucket Challenge. It's spreading the awareness of the ALS disease which is an incurable illness effecting the nerves in the body causing someone to have muscle weakness, the twitching or cramping of muscles, the lost of the use of arms or legs, and difficulty speaking. Eventually, the person may have a shortness in breath and/or difficulty in breathing and swallowing causing the person to be on a permanent ventilatory support just so they can keep living. Those are some symptoms that go along with ALS, but the symptoms may vary in different people. Someone may trip over something on the floor that was easily avoidable, another person may find it hard to lift their legs or arms, while a third person's early symptoms may be slurred speech and find it a bit difficult to breath properly. ALS is a progressive illness and--as I mentioned earlier--has cure. This is why I'm pleased they did this challenge. I also find those comments that say, "I wish they did it shirtless" insensitive and almost insulting to the reason this challenge exists. I understand that seeing them shirtless would be nice, but that isn't why they did the challenge: showing off their bodies isn't the reason they did it. They did because they were challenged to and to spread awareness of ALS. To both Jonghyuns, please take care of your health... I know Kim Jonghyun recently caught a cold and he's still a bit sick, so please stay warm, eat good foods, and be healthy. :)
