Here's a tip: If you don't understand/your first time using a straightener, practice with your straightener OFF. Turn it on when your used to the movement. Hope this helps!

I still don't k now how to do it.... I think it really reduces the root volume and then it curls only at the end. I discovered this babyliss waver and I'm really enjoying it haha, even pretended I'm a TH-cam and did a video about it 😅😅😅😅😅

Don't worry. I had the same problem as well when I first started attempting to curl with a straightener. If need be, just do the same technique but instead of keeping the straightener or flat iron horizontal (flat) maybe direct the straightener vertical so the end of the straightener is facing down. But heads up, if you're going to try it this way keep a hand at the end of the straightener if there's an area that doesn't get hot, to the keep the plates together so your hair doesn't slide out. Just keep trying until you get the hang out it! It took me forever but it finally turned out for me! 😊

I just wanted to say you changed my life!!!! I’m a very beautiful woman but could never do anything apart from straighten my hair!!! I wish I had watch your video like 10 years ago!!!! I can’t believe my first attempt and it came out just like yours! And it was so quick and easy took me 15 minutes tops!!!! Beforeee I used to have wand curlers and all sorts which would take me an hour and still be a disaster!
I keep trying this, but every time I'm finished with 1 curl, the straightener ends up just straightening my hair.

I don't do it like this, it makes my hair straight also. I just turn the straightener like, to the side instead of wrapping my hair around the whole thing like that, kind of like when you curl ribbons with scissors? Also I have medium length straight/wavy hair. It's not fine but it's not thick either. Always get amazing curls this way!

Just don't touch the ceramic plates, that way you won't burn your fingers

for everyone, I did this professionally, and the steam is not your hair smoking, it's from the heat. it's supposed to make your hair healthier. also, don't freak out and watch a billion videos if it doesn't work for you. some people's hair just does not work. my hair will not curl with a straightener I had to buy a wand and it works perfectly. I hope this helps. :)

Practice ahead of time. The same happened to me, I tried this for a wedding I went but my hair didn't help me out, so I ended with straight hair intead and I was an hour late for the wedding. So practice a days or even weeks before the big day
I had try this at home..it came out very nicely but after a few practice..The first time i try , my hair was still straight.After practicing i got it..Anyway tq so much..pls upload more useful videos

I think the straightner is very old or work not too fast or straightner is very cheap quality.
No really if you do themm slow you get beautiful hair cause I always made them fast and comes wavey if you have all the protection that provides hair to not be burnt .. you will have beautiful hair full of curls ❤

I played around with it and at first couldn't get it to work. I think what works is the hot temp. and rolling it around the outside to make the curls. The outside acts as a mold for the heat. Play around with the heat settings and find one that works. You have to keep moving though because it will cause dents in your hair or the curls will look boxy.
Never worked with me, I always thought it was my hair straightener, but then I invested in a better hair straightener and still never works :(
