I have a really bad professor for the Graduate Level NMR class. I just bombed my last exam over 2nd order & conformation analysis. We are currently going over 2D-NMR and these videos are very helpful. Thank you.
wait a minute, you were doing 2D NMR at graduate level? and here I am, doing this in my first undergraduate year, just hanging between the edge of life and death, wtf is this.
Your videos have helped me so much. I was struggling for ages as I have never really grasped NMR in general and as soon as I watched your channel it just seemed to click. Thank you so much for your videos, I really appreciate it! :)
Thanks very much! Your video just helped me out a ton! My professor just explained it really bad, and I have to know exactly this 2D stuff for my exam. Great work.
everything is clear except from the COSY, how the carbon the peak position in 125 126 help to assume as Carbon number (9, & 10), for aldehyde or Carbon number 1 to assume to the Carbon peak at 190, is ok from the aldehyde peak position in the chemical shift of C-NMR. How, peak at 117 is assumed as carbon 7?
Is it ok to have a coupled that 4 bonds away, in the COSY? I'm doing an elucidation and from COSY analysis I saw a coupled between a proton-proton that 4 bonds away: 1st scenario is a meta coupling and one of the meta proton was coupled to the methylene protons that 4 bonds away, And the 2nd scenario is between a symmetrical aromatic proton to and to an olefinic carbon attached to the aromatic carbon.
I am a second year uni student doing biochem and I was struggling to grasp 2D NMR spectra and this immediately answered all my questions, thank you :)

Hey can you please help me i have my final exams in next week.
I'll have to assign values so can you please help me in understanding

Thank you! lectures are very hard to follow with everything being online and they never realy explained how to read COSY/HMQC. This made it very clear

Great! I'm glad to hear it was helpful for you!
It is a good example, that helped to understand the concept a lot. Thank you so much for this great stuff.
Your videos are being very helpful! Thank you very much!
Very nice explanation
Actually you save my life no matter i' not good English speaker
Sir please explain the cosy spectrum of ethylbenzene and acetaldehyde
feels bad man when you have this as a base course in organic chemstry
You explain wonderful
Thanks for the video! Hello from Brasil
Do you have any videos on HSQC interpretation?
It is really very helpful and thanks for your effort in explaining this!!
Incredible, you explained it perfectly! thanks a lot!
You are very welcome! Thanks for the nice comment!
Looking at my HSQC, I see one carbon signal which correlates to two different H signals. How can I tell which Hydrogen is on the carbon?
Very well explained, thank you very much!

Hai sir, i am satish kumar i have one doubt why NH2 protons is came one is aromatic one is aliphatic region
How do I send an NMR data for analysis?

yes in cosy u can see upto 4 bonds
What's the difference between HMQC & HMBC??
Is the HMQC same as HSBC??
nice Hint's....., I need to know more on 2d interpretation
At first, I thought the table for benzene H determination is a silly thing. But really it helps a lot for beginners :D
is there a reference on the topic?
Hi Thank you very much it is very useful!
What is Name of this chemical structure?
When you say they r correlating (in cosy spectrum) wdym exactly
The protons couple (have a J value)
name of this compound..plz
thnku... its really helping
Thanks!!
Make a video about HSQC
thanks
Where do you get your problems from?
Silverstein Spectroscopy textbook
Gonzalez Kimberly Harris Matthew Miller Cynthia
thank you very much
thanks a lot ............
I am in Grade 10 and I find this incredibly interesting & useful :D
