The model is coming along great. I really liked how you worked out the balance of the model and servos. I am using micro servos have them mounted in the nose. You are definitely providing good ideas for push rods and other items. Looking forward to the 5th installment.
Hi Skippy. The rc stuffs are lights and the motor too. You are on the good way. But build light or the maiden will be the first and last. Hope to see part 4 soon.
Great detail and precision in the whole cowling/hatch area. Really nice to see such great craftmanship!
Thank you very much! Let’s hope this one keeps the battery in 🤞😎

Thanks for your comment and support, hoping it all starts coming together nicely now 😊
Those tiny linear servo are very useful 😊
I hope they do the job in flight!

Love your RC Conversions!...Keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time to record your progress!
Thanks for your support 😎👍
I think I missed what you used for the hinges. Could you say what you used and how installed.
Hi yes, Mylar strip inserted into a thin cut slit on both pieces with CA glue.
Models turning out great. What engine and electronics are you using?
Thanks. They are from the eflite yak 54; BL180 motor, don’t know the spec of the receiver and linear servos 😎
So if you end up with spare ribs, do what we do here in New Mexico- fire up the smoker and get out the barbecue sauce!
😂👍🏻
Hi , is that DU-BRO hinge ?
Hi, yes it is 😊
What electronics did you use? Thinking on converting a Pfalz d.iii
Thanks for watching. They’re from a Yak 54, eflite UMX. I go through the components in part 1 👍🏻
