Great, that solo was truly special. Love this album.
didn't expect them to nail it so close to the album, sounds like a hard track to recreate. great stuff
I think about this time a lot. special time. special band. I would love to go back.
It's Pavement meets Modest Mouse. So good, sooooo good.
They should have been so much bigger.
For everyone asking for tabs, here are the general chords:
Intro: F#m, A, E
Buildup (Do you know how many cities had been built...) is on an E (you can pick this part)
Then 'on the mainland' plays F#m and A
Chords are the same for the next few parts, a variation of the two parts above
Interlude with electric piano (carrying businessmen...) is E, C#m, A, B
Then next quiet part (why are there mountains...) is same as intro but less intense (F#m, A, E)
Next buildup (we two running our course...) is also same as intro
Play those chords to the end
I experienced a sensation comparable to love watching and listening to their performance. The lead guitarists brought purity forth from his guitar. Simply amazing!
lol I love that guy in the crowd making obscene gestures
👉🏼👌🏼
I still can't believe that they're not more popular than they are
This song/band/performance inspired me.
Now I wanna start a new band in a similar vain of Cymbals Eat Guitars/Built To Spill/(older) Modest Mouse/Pavement. Get all that messy loud beauty flowing.
The key player has a korg ms2000 on his top rack. I’ve owned the same synth for like 15 years and it looks almost identical with all the stickers and nonsense stuck all over it. Plus that beautiful red Nord stage piano. The exact setup I’ve always dreamed of having but those Nords cost sooooo much $$$$$.
i didnt know michael scott plays guitar for this band
aw so great
Reminds me of Shameful Dread by Built to Spill. Fantastic use of guitar as a vocal instrument and soft/loud dynamics
shit man, they were about to go right into 'some trees'! had to cut it off pitchfork...
最高過ぎる。
Fuck that crowd, no ones into it. Shits great
I'm suddenly real tired
haha yeah! He thought he was so funny! XD
More of a seizure than a guitar solo but what a fucking great song
Im a young person and I have already basically devoted my life to music. I play ukulele, piano, and drums. I have mixed emotions about this music but at the same time I 100% LOVE IT!! They get so into it and scream words so loud and raspy that I cant even understand what they are saying. LOOK AT THE LEAD SINGER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD look at his hands and the way that they just rip across the strings to the point where it just looks like they are about to burst blood ALL over the place. It is just SO interesting to watch. The music itself in my opinion is awful, but the way they play it and what there feeling while playing it absolutely INTRIGING.
Rachel Gyurnek Sorry but anyone who lists ukulele as an instrument they are proficient in is not a real musician
Alexander Braddock ...?
Steven Smith But...ukulele is an instrument...?
In the same way a recorder is an instrument
Alexander Braddock Ukeleles are instruments and take plenty of time to learn, just like a guitar. They're like tiny, four-stringed guitars.
Self indulge much?
