This is such a great discussion! I’m at this crossroad as well but being away so long, I think creating a new channel is the right move for me. I love your thoughts and I think you’re totally right, especially managing multiple channels. Love you girl!

Hi Vicky! Thank you so much! I think you'd be totally fine starting a new channel to come back. Everyone loves you for you! I hope all is well and make sure you share your new channel with me once you get it going! Love you, girl! Take care and wishing you all the best!

@@mercedesgomeznow you are always so encouraging! Thank you so much! I’m actually procrastinating so much and putting it off I’m so tired of it. I think I’ll start with just b roll with my voice over and slowly show my face. lol what are you thoughts?

Hey Mercedes! I had a similar thought when it came to the two channels. One is enough for me but two may not bad in the future maybe 💕 I do think people overall like a channel to mainly about one focused theme or being known for one thing. You can be creative in how you go about it still. Wishing you all the best 💕💕💕💕

Hey girl!!! I know we spoke all about this. I think were due for another discussion soon lol. I think you're exactly right and I agree with you 100%. I think i'm with you and I want to figure out my main channel before I start getting creative with some side ones. You're killing it! Keep up the great work and we will talk soon!

All wonderful points and I agree with getting to talk about a variety of things! Pros outweigh the cons.
I think the “For You” section is TH-cam’s way of signaling that they’re incentivizing having one channel.

Great analysis. I think I am putting that idea on hold. Thank you. You are very likable in front a camera.

Hahaha that’s funny! Add mind reader to my resume lol. I have a feeling a lot of subscribers are thinking about the same thing. I was too!

Great to hear your thoughts. I'm starting a new channel this week and resurrecting an old one as well. Do I need 17 channels? No, but I like to keep my content in separate areas, it's just more fun and organized for me that way (but probably doesn't help me gain subscribers).

Hey Tyler! That's great and thank you for sharing your thoughts. I think you know what you're doing and you've probably found that having multiple channels works for you. It's interesting to hear that you think having multiple channels probably doesn't help your subscriber growth. I sometimes feel like my subscriber growth would be better if I had a separate channel. Hope all is well and it was great hearing from you!

I’ve started a 2nd channel. Both pretty new. This channel where I post my Amazon review videos and EBay content. My 2nd channel will have golf content. I wanted to keep the 2 channel separate since they r so different.

I do think you are right about having to get your second channel monetized, you have to start all over. I have one channel monetized and two that are not. However, my first channel was all about camping, fishing, hiking and etc., second channel was about gig apps like Spark and now my third channel is a product review channel. The thing is, you want the algorithm to help you and if you are all over the place, you'll not only turn off some of your subscribers, but you'll also confuse the algorithm which is what you really want on your side. Of course this is just my opinion 🙂
