I feel like the Keith/Lance relationship (platonic or otherwise) had so much raw beautiful _potential,_ but it was cut short just like almost every other close relationship in this show. So many potentially powerful emotional moments, internal struggle, and character development that could've been explored, but the writers didn't know how to make that work, so they'd double back and cut short on everything that could've made this show and these characters absolute masterpieces. Instead we're left with the _"what if"s_ and the hope for something that could've been, but never even tried to be. It's really sad, but I like to look back at in an oddly bittersweet way; I like to think that _somewhere out there,_ growing older and more tired, Pidge is still visiting Hunk and Lance, and Keith every once a while goes back to Earth to see them all individually. Shiro guides and helps them with his sassyness until he can't anymore, and Keith and Lance keep an intimate yet awkward relationship, ever so close to bridging the gap towards romance, but not yet breaking that threshold. Maybe they never _need_ to. Because maybe, just maybe, they've realized they're _happy,_ despite everything; and to them, *that's enough.*

You got me crying, I havent seen or looked at voltron content in so long then i saw this in my subcriptions and watched it... I miss them so muc, they deserved the world, I wish they were together in the end... I can just believe they got together after the show ended, it makes me happy

it felt so forced and depressing just because Lance always had a crush on Allura but she never seemed interested, I would've been much happier if Allura somehow helped him understand she didn't see him that way and he'd finally move on. It just felt unnecessarily dragged out and painful for both. Allura was the best and it honestly feels like both Lance and her got cheated by the plot. They all deserved better.

(This is no dis on Allura I’ve felt exactly how she felt). This could have possibly worked as a cautionary tale or a moment of growth for both of them, but for a final season main romance? Just didn’t feel right... Besides Allura didn’t deserve to die.
their arc would've been so powerful if lance moved on and realized he'd been putting allura on a pedestal for 7 seasons straight. if they didn't reduce her down to a love interest and instead their relationship was used as growth as they both finally realize what they wanted, it would've been perfect. but that's not what happened :D

I haven’t found a tv show to hyperfixate on since voltron....that’s a long time. Busy focusing on my project 😂. Learning errors from other shows [not mad at voltron btw]. My story two guys were friends then they had a fall out and had time apart, one on self discovery journey and they make amends. It’s hard at first but they get together. The dragon prince is good s3 is mind blowing can’t wait for s4. She-ra is interesting s4 was good....you up to date with she-ra?

I know that the show has ended, but I feel like they should make a sequel about Lance getting over Allura’s death and possibly exploring deeper into Klance’s relationship (both platonic and/or romantic would work, I prefer romantic because they had so much potential). If they were to make one, they should probably explain more about how Keith and Lance were “rivals” at the Garrison, because we never saw any of that and because I’m curious. Then they should show how Lance slowly gets over Allura in a healthy way, then try to find him a new love interest (*cough cough keith cough*). Then show how they can be together even while Lance still misses Allura, but his romantic feelings for her eventually go away.
