I don't think Eda's spell circle is yellow because she's a wild witch. She was in the Potions track at Hexide, so I think that's why her circle is yellow/orange.

Maybe the curse will just lessen. I saw a tumblr post about an alternate (non-canon) outcome of the petrification ceremony where the crowd jumps on stage and performs the pain sharing spell around Eda. Everyone ends up having one small part of themselves turned to stone or take on a gray color (like a finger, a toe, a strand of hair, or an eye like Eda and Lilith). So if multiple people, willingly, decided to share the curse with Eda (and Lilith) then maybe they'll just end up with one part of their body dealing with the transformation every once in a while. Or there'll be owl beast hybrids walking around from time to time. Also since the curse is known to drain a witch's magic, splitting the curse might cause other witches' magic to drain, it'll probably just take a long time.

We've seen power glyphs from the construction coven, and I think the healing coven, because of Amity's cast, so I'm willing to bet each coven magic can create power glyphs. I wonder what each kind would do. That would be an interesting thing to see
I think an individual's magic circle color more often takes after the kind of magic they're inclined to. Lilith's is blue for healing, Eda's is yellow for potions, willows is green for plant magic, ect
if you look closely, witches don't always make the same color of spell circle. gus and willow both have pale yellowish circles when they summon objects, lilith's are blue when she levitates heo cloak and mask but white when she teleports. Bump's are usually green but he makes a yellow circle to perform a different kind of levitation where his hands glow green and whatever he's moving also glows green.
wow now that the show is over, we know so much more about the magic of the boiling isles, and how its used, but this is a very well put together video and holds up even 2 years later

I’m guessing it’s something of a colour change spell Also, theoretically glyph magic could be super overpowered. Just film people whenever they cast new spells, then you become kakashi the copy ninja but for magic Like you could instantly become a master abomination summoner by just learning the glyph, because it doesn’t rely on skill like the other form of magic. As long as you have a medium to film something and a medium to draw it (which could really be anything) EZ Also also, the fact that abomination is a prestigious track an coven is funny, like what use is it only being able to summon goop people
Late but maybe the prestige comes less from its use and more from its difficulty? We saw how hard it was for Willow (Someone who wasn't born with an affinity for Abomination magic) to learn it. I do hope they do bring dark magic to season 2 ! And I hope the characters, especially Willow and Luz, not only accept it but also learn to control it. Because darkness is a part just as important to us just like light. I also hope the price for the dark magic is not only accept your worst traits, but also be proud of them due to everything they allowed you to accomplish. This could not only lead to a complex and conflictuous character development, but it could lead also to a scene similar to the season finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 5, in which Yo-Yo, at the same time she tries to reanimate Coulson, also begs to God to forgive her sins, and then the camera focuses on each one of the characters, with her pledge for forgiveness ecoing throught out the scene as they try to win their respective battles.
Well if I had my own magic type it would be aura connecting all of the aura of nature and people into one spell it is a eye and two arches on the top and bottom on the eye it apears on the forehead but that’s it’s weakness of a well hit spell hit that spot the magic will be temporary disabled.(this is my personal opinion and yes you can use this as you wish good luck)

no, each glyph is different for each coven construction make you strong and heals glyph heals you slowly so each one has its purpose
