Thank You Destructo 🙏 I appreciate You. This update makes it bear perfect for me. A couple other things and I maybe give up my sampler addiction 😂 maybe....
@@LiftedNoise did you have to pay customs import fees? Or call customs about your smpltrek at all? Or was it just order and it should up at the house like regular mail?
this looks like the update I've been waiting for; a lot to be excited for, and I think the quick sampling will be the hidden gem of this update. the one button sampling just makes a whole lotta sense for a sampler that you can take and use anywhere. i really hope they continue to support this thing... its on the path to greatness. dope video.
I thinks their baby and they will. They seem very excited about it but that could be me. I'm loving the feel of this. Its pretty great and near perfect for me.
Thanks for the video, brother. You did a great job. I’m excited about this update. It addressed several things that have kept me from reaching for it as often as some other standalone samplers. I like seeing all of the energy and attention that they’re putting into updates.
No doubt, thanks for stopping in bro 🙏 it's a little work horse man. Definitely very dope 👌 didn't know you even had one though. I'd like to see what you do with it! 🙌
Just ordered mine 2 days ago arriving on Monday... unfortunately its not $399 anymore i missed the limited time order its back to it original price at $429...still bought it after the news of the 2.0 update... can't wait to have fun with it
Dope video as usual Lifted. This convinced me to get the Smpltrek for producing at work. I was waiting for the new Mpc Ones but the new ones aint it for me. Respect
Great video for a great update. I'm thankful for the new features and workflow improvements but I'm still struggling to find any flow with it. I make lots of beats and loops but can't seem to do anything with em.
What do you use to get that Shure mic to be so loud and clear without bringing up noise? I got a cloud lifter for mine and of course use phantom but I'm getting a ton of noise when I turn it up.
Is there any way to edit start/endpoints of your chops(individual drumkit pads)? I chopped a drumkit but I wanna adjust 2 of the chops, but can’t find any way to go back into the waveform editor
@@LiftedNoise thanks for getting back. You a real one for sure! Saving projects is a huge one for me that the SP is lacking. Simple things like being able to use a HP/LP filter on any track, an actual mixer screen, a usable instrument track with a good chromatic set up... All these things I feel the SP is lacking and the smpltrek is actually making a good effort to please us. The smpltrek just seems better for making songs and beats. Not just beats. I ordered one today. SP bout to be sold. Will consider it again when there's a real life changing update. 3.0 just didn't cut it for me
@StuntMan yea man the smpltrek definitely does all those things a whole lot better. The SP might still be worth keeping. I never thought I'd say this but I've been using it as an fx box a lot lately. If You've never used your live 2 assignable outs I would try running them into the sp and back in the live 2. I hope Roland improves those exact things you're saying as well. I'll hold both these for now.
@@LiftedNoise respect brother. I appreciate all you do for the community. Your video on the smpltrek had a heavy influence on me purchasing it. BIGUP!🙏🏿
Walk me through everything you have done so far. Format the SD and updated the firmware to the latest? Have you dragged files on to the SD from a computer or have you been just sampling in and saving?
The new MPC X SE? nothing very new about it. I can't answer these kind of comparison questions with any straight forward kind of yes or no. The X is by far more powerful but there are things about the SmplTrek that I prefer.
Great video brother. This update caught me by surprise so I’m glad you’re on top of thing’s. Truly appreciate the time you put into it. 🙏

It's fun! I didn't realize that til after the video. Still worth it, and I don't think they're done quite yet with the updates

@@LiftedNoise did you happen to find a case for your smpltrek that fits with the clear pots?

Haven't found a workflow for arranging? It is a great update. Thanks for stopping by Matt 🙏
@@LiftedNoise Yeah no good arranging coming from it yet. I know it's capable but I want to fight it.

I have the cloudlifyet as well going through a dbx 286s mic Preamp. What interface/Preamp are you using?
@@LiftedNoise going into an Audient ASP800 and that goes ADAT to Audiofuse 16 Rig.
@@LiftedNoise thanks for the tip. I'll grab a dbx 286s and give it a shot.
Where did you get those large knobs they’re great. Also thank you for the awesome video.

You have to make to adjustments before saving the drumkit. Start and end points can't be adjusted afterwards as far as I have seen.
@@LiftedNoise thanks! Kinda weird oversight tbh, but I’ll just have to keep that in mind
Yo bruh. This or the sp404 MKII? Im thinking about getting rid of my sp for this. Thoughts??? Keep in mind.... I have an MPC live 2 as well.

No but it does have a step sequencer you could probably program what you want in pretty easy
