Hey there! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for inspiring me to start mountain biking. It's honestly the best sport I’ve ever tried! I'm only 11, and it's such an awesome way to enjoy the outdoors. I have a full suspension bike, and my dad is super supportive of my hobby. He’s even getting an e-bike soon so we can hit the trails together more often! Thanks again for being such an inspiration!
As I watch your videos I noticed that whenever you have a "moment" or a crash it's always because you're not loading up your suspension to steer the bike and instead leaving the suspension and tires unloaded when trying to steer. Press down into the pedals every time you want to steer especially when avoiding ruts. Imagine you're bunny hopping back and forth over the rut.
@@TheOutsiderMTB I have only heard "bud" used in a condescending way in the MTB world but hope you know I was being genuine. I needed to hear it. Im battling the end of life woes with my 17 year old dog and I just gotta let him live.
Those trials look perfect for the high-end electric unicycles with suspension. Mountain biking all my life but damn I sure love electric unicycles. Funnest hobby I've ever had in my life.
Camarillo was smoother two years ago. Rocky, but so much more rollable. Still looks fun though. Good luck on the house hunt, hope you can stay in Fu-ton.
Not sure if you have a deep affinity to OC, but moving to the Temecula valley will definitely get you more bang for your buck with plenty of access to trails still. You’ll just be hitting the Ortega highway a bit more :)
Hey dude, just wanted to make sure youre leaving the windows open enough for the doggo. Sry Im that guy, based off a 3 second clip. I know. Anyway, love your channel. I got more and more into mountain biking because of channels like yours.
all the trails at El Moro have sand traps cause that's OC Parks idea of trail maintenance, dumping sand. BTW, they did major sanitizing on Lizard about 18 mos ago.
@@64chrisg Just saying that any trail maintenance done by the parks or state is a complete joke and when you factor in that we pay the highest taxes in the US, it makes things even worse. Now after recently returning from Moab, it really puts our situation in perspective.
@@TheOutsiderMTB went to a SC heckler sl after a few thousand miles on the full fat and really digging it. Both are great but leaning towards the lightweight..
Rough time to be house hunting. If you and Mrs. Outsider don't plan on having kids, one suggestion is to look for areas that have nice houses but crappy schools. Drives the prices down a little.
We just went through the house buying process a couple months ago so I totally identify with you about how aggravating it can be making bids or losing the opportunity to make an offer.

Thanks for the kind words! I love this it made my day. 🤜💥🤛
Old Emerald is an overlooked classic. Very comparable to Lynx. Pure high speed fun. It's that acoustic climb out that keeps it less ridden.
Yeah it’s a tough one.
You mean the “push” out? 😂

It doesn't live that long, let it live.... was far deeper of a comment than I expected from my lunchtime MTB video. Thank you 🙏
Haha I'll take it bud.

@GurthBrooks619 No I was genuine when I said bud: like friend. I’m sorry to hear that. I dread when my dog Pip has his time.

Rode this last week...ending with my first ride down TnA. Good luck with your two new adventures!
Awesome! Thank you!
Sick video. What an amazing outing brother
Thanks a ton!
I like how your confidence building loop is my normal loop
Haha I love this loop too for anytime.
My Favorite Loop in Laguna, been adding a piece of pie at Marie Calendars.😉
Good one!
MC 1 has been riding good.

That is a great looking loop. I really need to get up there and ride! I hope your luck changes with house hunting.
Thank you!
Love, love, love all those downhills but fuck the climbs up out of those valleys when you don't have an e-bike
Ha you’re not wrong!
There’s a nice place up for rent across the street from me here in ladera !

Moving down there also extends your reasonable range for rides to more San Diego trail systems too!
Good call but my wife works in Costa Mesa. 😞
I always avoid the black beetles on the trail.

Thanks! Oh no I never leave him in the car alone. I was just filming him for the clip. He’s the best!
After watching this video I hit up the loop with no pads😂 after all these years the loop got me today🫡
Oh no!!! It’s my fault then! 😆
"Except for the fullerton loop"😂

@@64chrisg Yes they do. We rode in Richfield on our way to Moab and that trail system is great. Have you ridden there? Lower Spinal tap is legit.
This is no help, being a forever So. Cal. resident...Good Luck with your housing situation. Hope it all works out well for you three.
Hello! What's your budget for a home? Are you looking to buy or to lease?
We are looking to buy but the market is insane. Renting as a last resort.
what bike are you riding?
YT Decoy Core 3

have you been dreaming about the new decoy sn???
On and off. 🤗

@@TheOutsiderMTB Back to LBC? OC is way over priced, and I'm in north Wrigley, 35 minutes to Laguna
@keithdavidson8569 We’ll see!

Yeah bud - it's exhausting!
